Hello, first time cannabis grower here looking for reassurance or advice. I germinated 2 different types of seed and I'm trying to make sure I'm on the right track, or not off the rails anyway.

I planted the seeds after they showed 1/2" taproot. They are in 75/25 mix of germinating mix/vermiculite, no type of food in either one. I moistened the soil with recharge at an extremely small dose. I do think my initial soil moistening was a little to wet.

I will be using 3.9g Autopots, modified Airdomes, FFOF/Hydroton with Megacrop 2 part/Sweet Candy/Power SI/Massive Bloom/Recharge/Drip clean

Seeds are:
Auto Ratio CBD 30:1 Crop King
Auto Dee lite Homegrown Cannabis Co

Environment:
Grow tent 3x3
77-85deg
55-65RH
Mars FCE4800 set at 20" dimmed to approximately 30%
2- 6"fans

First three pics 5-16
Last three 5-25

My real concern is should I feed a small amount now, or relax and wait longer. I read differing opinions of course, but based off the color of my leaves and growth rate thought I should lightly feed but don't want to burn them.

Welcome and congrats on a couple of healthy seedlings. Please take a look around the forum, there are some great FAQs already built to address some of this. I say that not to scold, but rather to point out that in cases where you have a question like this, you usually don't have to wait for a reply, you can find your answer in the stickied threads at the top of each subforum.

That said, everything here looks good. One point about autoflowers is that they don't like to get root bound, and they don't like the shock of transplant. Generally folks like to plant directly into the final container they'll flower in to prevent both of those things from happening. In your case, you're in solo cups so you'll need to get them into final containers when they grow 1 or 2 more pairs of leaves. Any longer than that (or if you see roots circling the bottom of the cup) and you're waiting a bit too long. Be very gentle when transplanting, and water only with plain water for the first few weeks. FFOF will have plenty of starter slow-release nutrients to feed the plants till probably well into day 30-45 of life depending on how they grow. CBD strains are a bit heartier than pure THC strains, so you'll likely have an easier time of it and need far less fertilizer than if you were growing a pure THC strain or a photoperiod strain.

I'd also only feed nutrients once you see the bottom leaves of the plant start to look a bit yellow; this is an indication that the soil has no more available nitrogen and you need to add some via fertilizer. With autoflowers, this usually comes around the time you are seeing bud formation really start to accelerate, so a nice bloom nutrient is useful but not for a couple of weeks from where you are today.

Keep on asking questions and once again, welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the response. Just concerned at the slow growth rate relative to age compared to other selling pics I see on the web.

You may want to raise your rH a bit, and mycorrhizal fungi is a great option to help roots develop as well!

Thanks.
I’ve been trying to increase RH but my original choice of using a reptile fogger outside the tent was not the correct one. I have a new humidifier on its way that will hopefully increase humidity even more.

I just started looking at mycos and azos, but got no further due to thinking I need to quit accumulating items and keep it simpler. But seems like there is no reason to not use them.

Yes, you can accumulate a lot of stuff trying for those killer nuggets. Got a whole shelf with stuff I don't use anymore or very rarely...Simple is good.

I will never disagree with trying to keep things simple!

I started to accumulate as well but decided the simpler rule was best. Only using roots organic terp teas with recharge. I grow in the ground though.
