New Grower First timer - Northern Light Autos

Northern Lights is SUCH a GREAT classic strain. I think actually it was the very first auto I ever grew if I can remember correctly as it was a few years ago now lol
Man 167 days! Wowsers musta been a beautiful plant! Talk about patience haha
I love experimenting and reading anything I can about growing so naturally I wanted to try growing in as many pot sizes as possible. I always read and heard you’d get bigger plants and bigger yields in larger pots but personally I haven’t found that to be the case at all even though it logically makes sense. I think a lot of it must be on the genetics and the particular phenotype you happen to get. Cause I’ve grown plants in very small containers with surprisingly big yields and than plants in 5 gallons that totally sucked lol
I’ve finally found the sweet spot for my setup which is 2 gallon. I’m perpetually harvesting as well and this size allows me to grow a few different strains all the time which i love as I always have some nice new smoke every 3 weeks or so

yup, as otherz in the know here will tell ya, NL is me own all-time #1 fave strain...altho it def ain't me #1 fave to try & actually grow, lol  and well, in my case, after 167d, they weren't exactly "beautiful plantz", no :nono: tbh, the main reazon they went so long is becuz of a major wall they hit around day 60ish, and the rezulting recovery time...ya, in a nutshell, it wazn't pretty, lol :rolleyes2: in any event, call me sillee, but i'm actually gonna be plantin another NL tonite & it'll be in me forevercrazy thread ;) i'm a major salad tosser, and thus, me luv havin variety too, and hopefully, i'm jus now gettin the "perpetual" part of my perpetual grow finally dialed in...time will tell, lol :coffee: ppp

Start of week 3 With pic update
Got the 2 older girls out of cups and into the 5 gallon smart pots definitely done with the transferring autos idea , I had little bit of roots tangled up in the drain holes in the cups hopefully I didn’t fuck with them too much  RH% is still not where I would like it when the light is on got them on 16/8 still
But holyyyy shiiit is the tent crowded now !

Looks good man :cools:
real healthy looking and your grow medium isn’t soaking wet, keep up the good work!

Alright guys week 4 update !! Looks
Like they have grown a bit this will be about day 21 since popped seeds. Still using Fox Farms Nutes I have added 1ML of cal mag the last feeding. I’m not sure about nutrient lockup or if I may be supressing growth so I’m going to water with nutrients every other watering and see how they react. I feel like growth is slow according to the seed source harvest time is about 65 days from seed and being that I’m about a third of the way there I wonder if that’s realistic.
Any body have any recommendations of stuff to add or try ? This is still all new to my eyes and I’m really trying to be successful can’t wait to enjoy some of these BUDZ

Almost at the end of week 7 ! All 3 have slowed down in growing a bit 1 doesn’t seem too have any bud sights at all :confused1: Thinking of what too try to make it want too start budding. I raised the light about as high as I can , possibly gonna try 16/8 instead of the 18/6 not sure ... No blooming Nutes yet.
