Perhaps that one is good for vegging(obviously), but not quite enough for flowering to a finish. Get some cfl's or T5s. I really like T5. Just make sure you get the T5HOs. HO= High Output. You can get a mixed spectrum or for you get a few 2700K lights, those are the flowering spectrum. Like these here, check em out and the rest of the site. How big is your grow space?

IME, standard vegging spectrum is 6500K. And flowering spectrum is 2700K or 3000K. Mixed is half and half of both spectrums, veg and bloom(flowering).

is the ufo close enough if you space is bigger then 1.75ftx1.75ft it will lack the power to cover it

Its not to big a growing space it's prob about just under a meter squared and about 1.5m tall. The light was near enough touching the top of my tallest plant. I've purposely tried to keep them fairly small just so I could get the two plants going at the same time. Thanks squid for the recommendation on what light to get.

with leds training will be more essential to keep an even canopy 1m sq meter is 3.2ft and really is 400w size or 200w leds

so you would need another 200-250w of t5's in there and they have the same issues as the 1w leds the canopy will still have to be even and plant kept short or use smaller strains

Thanks agito so you think it could be down to the fact that I just don't have enough wattage in there. I've just been up to check the box is 2ft squared

pretty much so and tall strains dont help either due to low light penetration of leds so lower bud will always be air bud on 1ft+ plants

Thanks man so for my next grow I'm totally going to need to get this sorted. The supersonic has got nice fat buds. So i need more watts and better light penetration. Now I'm wondering if I should just do away with the ufo for something better
