Depends on how many watts the bulbs are and how much more you want/need. They do create some heat, but not like an HPS. I don't have a lot of experience in cfl, except for the larger fixture I have, and that's sorta in between a T5 and cfl.

Hey man, what ph are you feeding and keeping at with your Promix?

:bong:
hey man, looking sweet so far! cant offer much advice but will be takin a chair at this one. peace and bud

The PH when feeding them is 6.5 and the runoff is at around 5.7. Just fed them tonight and they are looking great and healthy!

It's been awhile since I posted, been doing a lot of traveling and a lot of neglecting. Anyways, I've got one that is out of control. It wont stop growing vertically. It's now at 42" high. It started flowering about a week later than the other three but now at day 48 almost all top "buds" look like skeletons with only trich's. As you can see in the picture it's growing very odd. Wondering if anyone has an idea what happened? I know I got some burnt leaves from this weekend I had to leave them un-attended. Other than that they have been really green and healthy leafs.
I have been plucking them once they droop.

Looks like you got a sativa dominant phenotype judging by the way it's growing and the long, airy buds. Autos are still relatively new and not 100% stable, so it's not unusual for the odd pheno to pop up now and again.

should I scrap it to give the others more light? or will it still produce if i lengthin it's life span? some lower level buds are slowly developing but near the top it's only hairs.

i would keep it for the variety in the effect if its very sativa. might take a long time to finish up.

No, I wouldn't scrap it. Sativa doms often end up producing more because of their increased size and more bud sites. The buds won't get as fat as the indica doms but you usually get a lot more of them.
