Just wanted to post on my first time grow. It's a micro grow, single plant, for now so I can get the basics down. I'm growing northern lights feminized in a 3 gallon pot. The soil is Roots 707. The PH is 6.5. Water is filtered tap. I water as needed and check soil temp, wetness, and ph every other day.

i'm using 4X5,000 T5s on a 20/4 light/dark cycle.

tempretures in the tent have been a steady 73-78 degrees.

i germinated in water and planted the sprout on Easter. She popped her head up on April 7 and has been growing strong since then.

my plan is to add a small fan this week and start feeding a low dose of nutrients.

i've attached a photo of her that I took this morning.

I've been trying to put into action what I've learned from here, so any suggestions, thoughts, comments are welcome.

Thanks

Well, it's been a couple of weeks and things have really taken off. She's started to flower in the past few days. I've been feeding her twice a week with a mild Buddah Grow mix and now have switched to a Buddah grow/Buddah Bloom mix. It got here and the temperature in the tent hit 86 by early evening and then cooled to 68 when the lights went off. Lots of flowers have popped, so hopefully that's a good sign. I have been tucking large fan leaves under the buds as they appear to let them get light. The only concern has been the sudden yellowing of the lowest fan leaves. This was a week after her last feed, but after the heat appeared. And by sudden, I mean in the space of two days. Everything else looks good. So should I be super concerned?

I imagine the plant has grown and shaded out the lower leaves which is why they are turning yellow. Maybe try to open the plant up by tying some branches down so that it looks like a star from above. Let some light into the interior and the smaller buds in the cleft of the branches and trunk will be able to grow.
