Hi All,

I’ve just kicked off my first tent grow in the Mars hydro tent with ts600LED, the tent is 60x60x160cm, I’ve attached the pics, my humidity is fluctuating between 54%-65%, good or bad?
also the temp in the tent is always between 16-18 degree Celsius, it’s in an in insulated loft and temps in Glasgow Uk aren’t very high at the moment. Can someone recommend anythin to raise my temps that won’t take up too much space

Lot of people use a small ceramic heater, I used a seedling mat I will probably go for a full on electric blanket (without the auto shut off feature) and hook it up to the heat plug on my inkbird.

The heat is the main thing that's way to cold bro I use a tube heater in my tent

If you want something passive, no fan, I think you EU guys can get your hands on oil filled heaters much easier than the US. St.Toms suggestion for a tube heater is right on. You could also look at chicken coop heating panels or I think they market them as under desk heaters.

EDIT: Have you got a fan/filter exhaust system as well? Even one plant can get very noticeable smell wise. You'll probably also want a ph and EC/PPM meter. Water quality, ph, and nutrient strength levels will be important. Good luck.

Could you stick an old school high watt light bulb in there to generate a bit of heat, it's only a 60/60/160 so not much will be needed to raise the temp a couple of degrees.

Temp should start picking up here soon, my only issue is space tbh, the tents 2ftx2ft so it’s trying to get something small enough to fit the space

You can buy really small ones bro and if it's to cold your growth will stop or at the very least stall also is this your lights out temp as you could run your light 24/7 till it's warmer

I just set up yesterday and that was a full 18hr of light on, I’ll look into a small heater, what temp we saying is too much? Like what’s the optimum temp/humidity I should aim for .. read so many conflicting ideas on humidity for 50% to 75%

The min you want to be is 20c also I grow all year around with rh at 50 but in veg you want to be up to say 75 and in flower say 50 rh

Use the attachment to determine the heat + humidity combination.

You ask about optimal heat and humidity. According to Dr. Bugbee, optimal heat range is 78.8F - 84F, and the RH range is 40%-70% with 60% being optimal. But if any of the other growing parameters are out of whack, then it doesn't matter. For example, if your root zone is too cold then it will stunt your plant. And optimal humidity changes depending on which growing phase the plant is in. Again, checkout the attachment.

Good luck!
