RO water ph can go up and down like a yoyo as theres no disolved solids for a ph pen to register a reading.
a rough and dirty schedule in more ways than one for biobizz lighmix and nutes from a shit grower,RO would likely need a bucket load more cal/mag but cant be more sppecific than that.

So this is day three, she's growing tall, about an inch high right now.

Thought of watering her today, the top of the soil is all dry but it still feels slightly (like very slightly) moist two knuckles deep or so. Probably gonna push it off until tomorrow. Unsure how much to water this early in the game, I guess until as soon as I see run off? Gotta do more research today.

If you soaked your pot when you planted, the water will last a while. If you think it needs water, give 10% of pot size (roughly) around the plant about 3" or so away. You want the roots to seek the water. I did a clear bottle grow and by day 8 or 9 the roots are at the bottom of the pot and the plant has barely grown!

No nutes, no growth spurt. The first 10 days are pretty dull above the soil it's like the "mullet" phase, all the shit is in the ground. Once the roots are established enough to supply the plant with nutrients for growth, then she will grow.

I was thinking about trying something like that.

That’s crazy, I had no idea the roots grew out so fast, very cool. Thank you rollin_along for the advice on watering, I had heard of watering a few inches out before as well, I will follow that method.

So I've been gone since Sunday, just got back last night. I watered her a little before I left, and the top soil stopped showing any moisture while i slept last night. Today is Day 7 I think? It popped out a week ago, last Wednesday.

Sorry the pictures are rough, my phone doesn't like to focus.



Now I have one issure, the leaf on the right in the top pic, or the higher leaf in the bottom pic is a little bent or twisted or something. Does anyone know why this would occur?

They grow strange sometimes. I think when there are only two leaves we focus on every detail. When the plants grow and get bushy, there are loads of weird leaves we just don't notice so much because there are so many. Lol. They are looking good, just watch your stretch. They look like they are getting a bit lanky. If they do then you can add a bit of dirt around the stem to aid with support.
