Indoor First RDWC Grow 10 Malawi Gold Autos

Hey AFN, been around for awhile. Finally decided i should do a journal. This will be my first hydro grow. I decided to run the same strain as my first indoor coco grow so i would have some sort of a comparison.

I consider myself to be a decent grower, but im new to hydro. If you see me doing something stupid with my plants or not including vital info you would like to see in this journal please let me know.

The plants are currently 6 days old, i had 3 seed that failed to germinate so there will be 3 plants about a week behind the rest.

Propagated in Rapid rooters move to net pots on day 3.

Lights- VEG 1 X 1000HPS on light mover
Flower 2 X 1000HPS Fixed

DIY RDWC System.
10 Inch net pots.
2 inch tubing
2 X 70 lpm air pumps
1250 GPH water pump
System Capacity 65 Gallons


My well water runs 280ppm 7.2ph

The breeder is MJ seeds. Not a very popular breeder, but I had good results with this strain in coco.

Decided to be safe and Germed 8 Green Crack Photo period seeds today. Going to run them in my veg tent in coco just in case I have issues with the new system.

All 8 Green Crack seeds were cracked this morning. Put them in 5 gallon smart pots in my veg tent.

The Malawi Gold autos are at Day 9 in the RDWC system and looking good.

Day 10 for the Malawi, got some roots coming out of net pots on a few plants now. Running 1.5 ml per gallon of GH Flora nova.(440) ppm My well water is 280ppm...Harder than 3 year old Christmas cake.
