Hello looks hungry and the pot looks dry to me plants in coco need feed from the word go and need to be kept moist at all times :smoking: :smoking:The baby leaves look little yellow and what could be the issue? The pic looks ok but I can see it. Or does it look healthy View attachment 1428036
What should I feed them at this age? I got superthrive,cal-mag,dr.earth veg, gold, and bloomThe cotyledons are basically the energy source for first seedling growth, they naturally yellow, wither and eventually fall off. If your instead talking about the tips on the newest top leaves, they sometimes appear more yellow than more established, older leaves until the chlorophyll greens them up....But as stated, if your using coco, watering/feeding is something you start on day 1 and continue every day till they are done....but to answer your question....It looks like it's off to a great start and is healthy...
I have superthrive,cal-mag,and dr.erath veg, gold, and bloomHi Tattoochase, she's in coco and coco has no nutrients (inert)..may I ask why you chose coco to start your seedlings in, if you were thinking of transplanting them to soil? (from info reading your other thread).
Reason I ask is because coco needs to have added nutrients at every watering, obviously at this stage they only need a little in the way of nutrients, but how long are you planning to keep them in the coco for?..Id say they will start yellowing without any added nutrients unfortunately.
Fertigation (water/feed) will also need PH adjusting, which means you will need a PH and EC meter/pen.
Remember coco is basically semi hydro, so you will need to keep it wet at all times..it's not like soil where there needs to be a dry period.
The coco looks dry in the pic.
I have 0 experience with coco, so I won't hazard a guess........coco people chime in.....What should I feed them at this age? I got superthrive,cal-mag,dr.earth veg,gold,and bloom
Hello you want to be feeding grow at about 250 to 300ppm or EC 0.4 ph 6.1 and if your coco is bufferd you dont need cal/mag :smoking:I have superthrive,cal-mag,and dr.erath veg, gold, and bloom
I guess I messed up putting them in the coca I have happy frog to transplant in. 3 1\2 cu feet.i put them in the coca cause it was all I had that was nute free. Rocket seeds say grow 3 weeks in nute free soil. So I had bag of burpees coca coir pH 6 to 7 range no nute so I guessed that would work for 3 weeks till I plant in happy frog in 5 gal grow bags. I put couple of drop of superthrive in gallon jug of natural spring water the pH was at 6.9 I watered them till little before run off. I don't know cause I have the Dr. Earth premium veg gold and bloom feeding schedule I wasn't going to feed till 3rd week. Will call mag hurt them or something I wish I didn't make this confusing for me cause of the coca.lolHello you want to be feeding grow at about 250 to 300ppm or EC 0.4 ph 6.1 and if your coco is bufferd you dont need cal/mag :smoking:
