Harvest & Curing first harvest confirmation

August 1st marked 12 weeks. Grown outdoors organically with some earth juice/compost amendment teas to supplement nutrients. Been feeding cha-ching additionally for 2 weeks to try and up the resin since we don't have any dark at 65° to encourage thc.. nugs looking fat but anyways here is a narcotic kush the most ripe plant. Pics taken today on my phone and I guess I'm asking when should I harvest? Should I bother with a black trash bag for 2 days before harvest?

can't see the buds up close from the pics to tell how close to harvest they are. putting a trash bag over the plant to provide darkness will depend on daytime temps. if the sun is out the heat can really build up during day time. GL

I would not do the trash bag technique ... I think you're about 2 weeks from harvest ... Damned Nice First Grow !!

I'll go snap a few close ups. Does anyone think a tiered harvest would be smart since some of the main colas are yellowing out while there is still new growth going on down low for most the plants

you can do that..... pick the ripe fruit first leave and the rest to 'vine' ripen!
