New Grower First grown up grow

4/1 group B dropped into solo cups.

4/18 Lights switched to 12/12

Lets fast-forward to today

Here is plant 1 from group A

If you look at pictures 1 and 2 you can still see some of the tips curled and burnt.

New growth up top seems to be ok

if you look at picture 3 and 4 (basically the same) it looks like it is showing pistils where it was topped and split off. i think that what they are.

when i pulled it out to take the photo i noticed a slight aroma of the sweet sweet skunk haha.

it seems to have almost a spicy smell some where in there.

soil looks dry on top but it when i pick it up i can tell it still has some water weight. (someone please advise on what they think i should do)

Also, I know it is supposed to have a growth spurt when it goes to flower but seems like she is stretching?

Plant 2 from group A

Plant 2 has some of the same issues, but it has some additional issues.

If you look at picture 4 you can see some yellowish spots mid leaf not just the tip.

This plant is giving off a grapefruit-ish smell.

not really much to say about this one. nice long roots. smells super skunky but not seeing any sign of sex.

it did not do much until i started bottom feeding, then it took off.

Ok so I am going to abandon this thread.

I am going to finish these plants and then I will be starting some autos I was given.

Also, anyone have any tips for controlling temp? My tent is running warm, the plants actually don't seem to mind so far.

I got a better fan and a light that runs cooler.

Lights on my temp is around 83F and 33% RH. Lights out it stops to about 74-75F.

I’m new period but I’ll offer what i know. Drooling down leaves can be a few things but overwatering is the top onebut to low ph may be another. To help with temps a small fan in the room blowing and exhaust fan helps to. I run hydro right now so frozen two litter bottles helped in my tank last year so maybe add one or two in the tent but then you have to watch for humidity and moister a bit. Now once again I’m not a pro by any means I’ve just been winging it since I first started trying to grow and found a few things that worked. Hope any of this helps

Number one way to control temperatures in a tent is with a good ventilation system that intakes from a different room than it exhausts into. Most guys try and intake and exhaust in the same room and that doesn't work unless you're running air conditioning in that room.

If you don't have a high speed, low speed, and off type of fan controller you need to get one of those, they really help you control your temperatures.

Some guys will find they have to go powered intake as well as powered exhaust. I'm of the opinion as long as you have a large enough exhaust fan and you are intaking from a cooler area and exhausting into a warmer area you're going to be fine.

So with Autos I run 24-0 on my light schedule. It makes it a lot easier to keep your temperatures in a nice stable range.

took a couple pics of what is happening in the tent at the moment.

i took a gamble the other day and was going to water right before light out, i came back before light out and the ladies were not happy.

I gave them a drink and they pepped right back up, noticeably within say 30 minutes.

So here we are today. having hands on has taught me soo much. All tips and techniques are appreciated.
