Well today is the lucky day! My seeds arrived today, time to get this ball rolling!

Seeds are in a moist paper towel.

Seeds: Blue Himalaya (regular) (Short Stuff Seeds, from alibongo.co)

Light: 4 @ 20" T5

Substrate: Coco / Pearlite / Vermiculite

Nutes:
Holland Secret (3 part mix)

Cabinet:
35.5cm Deep x 120cm Long x 62cm High

The setup is very basic. No automation, no timers, 2 small ventilation fans (intake/exhaust)

This is my first grow in a long time. My last grow yielded about 3lbs of dank weed. Cost me about $30/oz

My goal is to seed every plant. I'm not growing for smoke, I'm growing for seed and pollen.

(Overgrow the Gov't!)

Wish me luck!

Great choice of Strain! :Cool bud:

The first harvest always has to be seeds. :d5: Then we try all the crazy sinsemilla and improve crops.

I'm in wait for your journal! The strain you've picked is the one I always wanted to try, so I'll be craving for updates!

Good luck with the germination!

Thanks Gabro!

I did enough research to figure out that Blue Himalaya was the smallest plant that was available. Betty Boo was out of stock.

I've always wanted a micro autoflower. Always been afraid to order seeds as it was illegal.

My Cabinet (it's taken a beating during construction. Needs to be repaired)

My lovelies are out of the paper towel and into the pots. I only used the tissue paper as a small jump start on germination (8 hours)

:)

Looking nice and stealth bro great little strain yet I would think it packs a powerful one two punch. I will be following this closely too because most peeps want medium to super autos your grow is super stealth Who would look at that and think you are growing weed very cool. Are you going to try and incorparate a a carbon scrubber filter super small 4 inch one bro because day twenty or so you will start and get a distinctive smell I know i am at day 21 with 6 going just to let you know

Cool cabinet. Are you going to do LST or just let them grow freely?

Fairlynew:

I do have a homemade carbon filter installed. I'm not sure how it will work, as today is the first time it's been operational. I have no clue what temps will be, humidity, or the capabilities of the DIY Carbon Scrubber. It's a cool design, when i do a rebuild of the exhaust/DC power supply I'll take pics of it.

If the carbon filter does not work, my ventilation system is set up so i can place a small can of ONA in it and make the house smell awesome. Win/Win :)

Psyphish:

With this T5 I will not have enough height to fit the 14" of 'it's projected height' in without getting too close to the lights. I also only have 5 plants in there, so I have room to make them flatten out.

Do you have any suggested techniques/reading?

Cabinet temp holding stable @ 76 F, humidity @ 63%.

It's been almost 12 hours since I planted them, if I harvest now I can get 5 seeds!!

I had issues with sprouting, 2 of 5 seeds didn't come up.

One of the three that did come up, the first one, came up backwards. It was the strangest thing, the tap root came up straight out of the soil, it was a little less than a centimeter. What a retarded seed!

So, with 3 sprouts, I paper toweled 4 more, they cracked, now they are in soil.

I fertilized 1 time, with Holland Secret 3 part fertilizer (5 years old) in a super light mix. I took the lowest mix on the back and halved it.

I watered the oldest three plants again, with a light mix of nutrients. They seem to be coming along very nicely.

3 of my 4 new planted seeds have sprouted.

1 seed hasn;t sprouted. I gave it a tiny bit of water as it seemed a touch dry. That particular pot is about 20/20/60 Coir/pearlite/vermiculite as i ran out of coir (i wanted it to be 60/20/20 coir/verm/pearlite)
