Indoor First Grow Recommendation??

True, but Gotham Hydroponic owns blackstar and they have been around for a while. They will be around for the foreseeable future and have a reputation for backing up any kind of faulty product. as long as you're still in your warranty they'll ship you a brand new unit soon as the busted one hits the post. Most of these other L.E.D. upstarts haven't even been around as long as their professed warranties, there's no proof they'll back up a three or five year warranty or even be around at that point. I'm willing to pay the price for the blackstar, which is an all around good deal. For me the company themselves are American so I can legally hold them to their word. I'll be purchasing another blackstar 240 when I can afford it, and a 2x4 gotham tent to match them.

I know the company I use has been around as long as blackstar and grownorther design and develop there light unlike a lot of company's to whom I think u refer just import lights from China and sell them as there own.

what kind of meds you lookin for?

pain?

I'd personally start with a durrty dragon red.... its what i smoke until im out again... lol

fixes pain like no tommorrow... helps with circulation...and leaves a person functional for work or pleasure...

and they can take a pretty good ass kickin comparitively... I definetly would NOT start with the autoberry... thats very nute sensitive...

I speak from experience... I started with autoberry...

Don't get me wrong the Blackstar 240w is a good light but actual power draw is only 133w not 240w there's only 1 year warranty and if u have a problem u have to send it back to the states. Grownorthern 120w light had better PAR reading (is brighter) you get a 3 year warranty and u can modify the light as and when new tech comes out oh and it's a UK company.

Yeah true the grow northern sounds better especially being in the UK too cheers J TaNg!

I measured 120 even at 117 volts ac on the 240 blackstar... i agree... not sure why its rated at 240... but i will say they perform very well... i've seen lots of grows under them on here and one personally of a friend... they are a good light for the price... jtang is stuck on thse other guys... they sounds like a great light too and he swears by them... i think wichever best fits your budget or situation is whats best for YOU..

JM if I were stateside I think using Blackstars would be a no brainer for me as I like to buy locally lol and they are awesome lights. The thing that originally drew me to the company I use is they were the first in the world to build Lights with 5w chips and i have remained loyal ever since lol

I always challenge on things like this... to insure we all get the BEST products for the BEST PRICE... cuz nothing pisses me off more than getting burned by some shit-ass company!
