Day 9 - unfortunate update guys, due to the awfully unpredictable and brutal weather,or maybe TOO much love(or both) one of my seedlings was lost and the other is struggling. Have put in a pic of the other, now in coco and perlite only.

Have moved it inside to have more control over temp(lucky to have good air con inside) and put it under a small solo light for a break from outside conditions.

My last seed is germinating now,I've ordered a grow tent and 600w led that I can set up easily inside n sort out a fan and ventilation for,thinking this might be the way to go while the weather is harsh.

@the green bandit not having too much luck mate, any advice or previous posts you have/like for handling the elements especially in aus? Feel like I bit off more than I could chew for a 1st grow lol!

Hey buddy, don't give up on the outdoors yet. I have tagged you in a guide/journal I'm currently working on, specifically for Australian conditions. Come on over and have a read of it. I'm currently growing a seedling and showing a little more of how I do things. I wouldn't advise trying a coco grow unless you have done a ton of research on it. Come check my guide out and and we'll see if we can get you back on track.

Day 10 - not much to update

Rookie error was not being as conscious of humidity as I should have been,went back through the weather this week during the times I wasnt home to check on the seeds and humidity was anywhere from 65-83%, that on top of my potting adjustments and excessive TLC has been a learning curve. Last seed still germinating,thanks to some great guides ive been tagged in I'm thinking I might order my next batch of seeds now that ive done some more research into climate resilience across strains.

Have the next two days off work so hopefully will give me a bit of a chance to monitor without getting antsy!

Day 14 - have been swamped with work so have been AFK a few days- new seed popped really strong!
I was worried in the humidity she would struggle but maybe it was just the TLC that affected the last one, as the newbie is showing a much stronger sprout than the last,really nice crisp green,just in 80% coco and 20% compost.
Fingers crossed!! Tent arrives tomorrow for my next trial!:smoking:

Day 16 - nothing huge to report, just some solid growth!! Was very overcast today,but shes been in the morning sun and afternoon shade for 2days. Crazy how much of a difference finding the right placement makes(and less sticky humidity!!!)
Grow equipment arrived just as I'm writing this,cant wait to get it going

Just another pic update for day 17(day 6 of this seedling) tried to post yesterday but pics were uncooperative!
Under the new LED yesterday while it was overcast and put her in the sun today now that it was finally back out.

Here's Day11 of NLBG,still going strong,4 new leaves stretching out from the centre,big boost in growth since day8 posted previously, dont realise how much she's growing until i check my last post here lol....
has been transferred over to final pot now and pH neutral watering from my rainwater tank,tested runoff today at 6.4 so everything is looking good

side note...ordered my next few seeds today as i am feeling more confident & want to get a steady grow going for myself..alien lights OG auto x3, sugar black rose auto x3, and sweet tooth auto x3.
