hello!

this is my first grow ever and im a little bit concerned about the size of my plants..

my soil was cheap, 4 euros/20l, the guy at the store said that it had 80% organic matter in it, i dont know more.

during germination i mixed 6ml of biobizz root juice with 1.5 liter water and i throw it to the soil and let it dry for 1 day.
since then i only gave them another 1 ml root juice & 1 ml biogrow mixed with 1.5 liter of water.
both plants are inside a 20 liter pot
i started with a 40 watt 6400 cfl for the first 2 days, added another 40watt cfl at the 3th day, and at 7th day i moved them to a "real" 250 watt cfl.

and here's the problem.

day 10

I dont really know whats in your soil but it looks really dense. I would not add any more nutes for awhile and let them dry out pretty good as the soil looks pretty wet. It almost looks like some kind of moss growing but I am not sure.

Noticed this is your first post at AFN....so WELCOME !!
Good looking start on ya ladies....no idea what the greeen stuff is....somone with more input will perhaps check in....

it is pretty dense indeed, there're small pieces of wood inside it and some hairs (they look like dog hairs), oh, the bag had a picture of geranium.

thanks :)

my ladies seem to catch up just fine, i want to eat them ;P

however i dont like what i saw today

that yellow-ish spot appeared on both of them today, should i worry or?

Hi hashiklas-
Looks to be over fertilized....when you get yellow leaves. Dense soil....can you add perlite (white volcanic stuff) andf possdibly a little sand? That helps aeriating. At this early stage, perhaps dig up clumps not to expose rotts and rework the soil adding a bit of sand (play ground sand) and perlite to your mix. If it's real peat-y that can burn them as well.. Hope this helps! They will get a growth spurt once their living conditions improve!!

ROOTS!! not rotts!
