What a long strange trip it's been...

Getting gun-shy with nutrients after nute-burn...These babies are fickle...looks like below 580ppm and above 500. Damn. They all love 5.9PH, runoff is always at 6.1. All girls have begun to flower.

...and Dani...I predicted some time ago that she would vie for the top producer after transplanting her to drip/coco. She drinks like a fish and has grown at a rate roughly twice that of any other in the tent...especially after changing from MH to HPS. Crappy pic 'cause I dont want to feck up the tent:

View attachment 421053 She's quite healthy despite a little nute burn now and again...this is due to the rez becoming concentrated. I can now determine the rez content at a glance! I REALLY like this method. I stated earlier that coco in smartpots would be my next grow...I think I'll do 2 of those and 2 drip/coco..we'll see.

And...the MUTANT (Cheryl)...now this is a STRANGE plant. I've practiced FIMMing with her and will have two colas instead of one on her weak side. Fun shit!

Yo, Sperm Tube...

First some background. 4x4 tent. Sealed 600w/HPS light with adjustable fan. Dehumidifier. CO2 creates a very humid environ. A Co2 monitor (placed where I can read it by opening the little viewing patch). A 25 year old Co2 regulator. A case of beer. I have a restaurant so I have access to all the cannisters I want. Here's what I did: Turned the light cooling fan O. Monitored the temp. Drank a beer. Discovered that the ambient temp leveled out between 88º and 92º. Perfect. Played with the regulator until the meter read 1400-1600 ppm CONSISTENTLY. Had to peel open the viewing hatch a bit to release a little gas...but by simply standing there all night and monitoring the levels (and slugging beer) I have perfected the atmosphere in which my first grow will thrive. It DID take a great deal of time and beer, but as this is MY NEW HOBBY, I got it down pat. IF, however, there are weather changes, such as ambient temps go up, I gotta turn the fan on to cool the tent to the appropriate temps. Co2 don't work at all at low temps. 90º is MY target. 88.5º is where my mean average works out, but it's within the range of benefits. Hope this helps...

The first pic is the roots growing out the bottom of a WaterBucket. I don't think it was designed for that, but my god, the roots are healthy! Using 2/3 Hydroguard (Botonicaire) and 1/3 RapidStart (GenHydro) with about a quarter match-head​ of myco (zho). I think as soon as I started the myco, nute burn went away and I could increase the PPM's and number of feedings.

Yeah! Mine got cut several years ago...made me instantly desirable here on the beach...

The first pic is accidental roots in a WaterBucket, i don't think it was designed for DWC style growth...but I'm going with it and keeping the rez FULL...

Germinating heirloom tomato seeds in hopes that I can use them as a training ground for cloning, supercropping, fimming, light 'breaking' et.al. This shit really opened my eyes!
