How Many Plants? 5

If in Vegetative Stage... How Long? easy ryders and quick ones sprouted 5th of april. LSD-25 was germinated later and sproutet the 12th of April
Indoor or Outdoor? indoor
Soil or Hydro? soil
If Soil... What is in your Mix? BioGreen Grow Mix with 30% added vermiculite (In the LSD-25 soil there is also added Leca-stones)
If Soil... What Size Pot? 12 Liter - about 10 liters of soil
Size (Wattage) of Light? How Many? 3x36w t8 cfl and 1x400W hps
Is it Air Cooled? Yes
Temperature of Room/Cabinet? Between 20-27 degrees celsius
RH of Room/Cabinet? 40-60
PH of Medium or Reservoir? Don't know
Any Pests? no
How Often are you Watering? every third day or so
Type and Strength of Fertilizers used? i have been using a bit of rootjuice from the beginning and recently gave them a small dose (1ml/l) of PH grow
Size or Square Footage of Room? approx 3x3

The grow is going fine and the plants are growing a lot each day. But some of the leaves look a bit weird to me. What do you guys think can be the problem? Is there a problem or am I just paranoid.

Thanks! Also I'm thinking of starting a grow journal, but I am a complete noob.

Hi Lassekat, Welcome to AFN! Not sure where all the experts are but I got to say those leaves are green healthy. Leaves production is impressive for 10 days, I'd be worry about roots and steam health at this stage. how far away do you put your lights from the plant? Maybe you can raise a bit higher so leaves can stretch up a bit. It's looking good overall :)

Hey AF - thanks for the reply. I am probably just worrying to much. I just think they look a bit dry and curly. I have my lights about 30-35 cm /12-14 inches away from the top of the plants. I'll put up some more pics of the setup. It is a temporary setup till i move the plants to a big closet in about 10-15 days. You guys are welcome to come with inputs. I know that the reflection of aluminum foil is bad and i'll use white plastic when i move to the new closet. I would like to perform LST on the plants, but I don't know if it is too soon?
I have 2 easy ryders, 2 quick ones and 1 LSD-25, which is planted a week later than the others. Easy ryders and quick ones are 10 days old (9 on the pictures) and LSD 3 days (2 on picture)

These pics are from yesterday:

Day 11.
Here are a picture of the plants all together:

I feel like the easy ryder #1 (the one in the back) - is lookding a bit tired. Almost like the leaves are drooping - overwatering perhaps?
Here is a pic of easy ryder #1:

And last but not least the 4 day old LSD-25:

I am planning to start training the soon. Any advice?

Okay - thanks for the input! I'll try to lower the plants (the pots are standing on books atm) and raise the lights a bit too. They'll get some water tonight and also I'll try some LST on the fastest growing ones.

Day 13:
The plants are generally doing fine. I watered the easy ryders and quick ones with 3ml/l rootjuice, 1ml/l micro and 1ml/l grow. The easy ryder #1 looks even worse after the watering, so I am starting to think it might be overwatering og nitrogen toxicity? I also did som LST on day 11 on Quick One #1 and easy ryder #1 since they were the tallest plants. The Quick One #1 has responded very well, but as i mentioned earlier the easy ryder #1 is not doing too good. I have raised the lights a bit and also reorganized the plants:

A look at the Easy Ryder #1:

The Q1 #1 looks a lot healthier:

The LSD-25 is doing really good on day 6:

That easy rider looks like it is on it's last leg, looks like it dried up. Auto's are going to move very quickly once they root that tap root can shoot to the bottom within a few days. That soil looks really dry and with no water throughout the pot those roots die resulting in plant death or a badly stunted plant if it makes it. Give her some water and it may take awhile but it will come back if it isn't too far gone. Look around the edges of your pots and see how the soil is pulling away from the edge that's bone dry when you water it the water will run down the sides and out so water slowly from the center and re wet the soil and let the soil expand. Remember under watering is just as damaging as over watering. I have mentioned moisture meters for new growers and it does help,I went to one after I under and over watered mine close to the point of death. Get some water in them you may even need a tiny bit more. Looks like you may have heat stress good thing you moved your lights up. You can always keep them higher and if they show signs of stretching move them down. I personally would rather have a plant that is a bit leggy that stress the little girls with heat. The LSD is looking good and it is a hardy plant that is ideal for new growers, that plant will grow after a nuclear holocaust. You may want to get a little fan if you don't have one for some air flow and move that heat around and to move it out of your space you don't need a bunch but some airflow could help. Hope that little comes back for you.

Just gave the easy ryders and quick ones a 600 'll watering each. I only added root juice. I do have a small fan blowing while lights are on. The 400w hps is only 45-50 cm above the plants and it does seem a bit too hot, so I'll try and move it further up. Every new set of nodes seem to have a very small distance in between. Might that be because of heat? Here is a closeup of the easy Ryder #1. Thanks a lot.
