All sounds good TX , you get some crap in the bucket by the end of the week sometimes ...always if added cal mag like you did , if PPM is dropping after the fresh res ,kinda says shes been underfed for a while maybe ?... but PH going up is normal if PPM go down :Sharing One: a bit more base nutes maybe ?.

go for the switch & get all the light you can in there bro ...wait a week or two before the bloom feed & see how she goes "wg's Cool""AFN smoke out"

I forgot to show my recently acquired Blackstar 240w HO UV I bought from a pawn shop for $95. They thought they were DJ lights!!
SUCKERS! :twist: At first I thought this was a 180w, but comparing it to the website appears to be a 240w HO as it has lots of orange/red light and the 2 UV in the middle. There is no definitive red and no blue.

If so, here are the specs:

Well, she's sucking water again, thank God. For a bit she completely quit. Freaked me a bit. Now it seem she's liking the nutes as well, now that she's over the shock. pH is up and ppm is down. Added 1/3 gallon of 5.8 and corrected 6.1 res to 5.8.
Not much else...

All right folks, I been checking out the new light and it's bloom time! Cycle changed to 12/12 tonight with the addition of the LED. The HPS will be added as soon as I get the duct ports drilled into the attic. Unfortunately, I've been too busy with other issues like hot water heaters and such to get started on that one. So I guess the LED will have to do for the moment. Why does everything ELSE look green (except the plant!) after I tend my gardening duties?? Man, that thing is strong!

Again, she's hungry and not thirsty. The ppm is down 50 points, the water is static, and pH was also up 2 points. No nutes added yet. Seems all main vertical growth has slowed drastically, but she has continued filling in and side stem growth has continued. The main stem is starting alternate phyllotaxy and side stems are starting to clear the canopy. Definitely time to flip.

Let me retract here... there SEEMS to be no red and blue...after you look at the bastard once lit. Screws the color perception all to hell!!!!

hey Tex get you a pair of polarized sunglasses it will help your eyes when you come out the grow area

that was one thing i hated using my black star was how every things color was off for a bit screws with the head the first time huh
