Hey everyone, my girls are a couple days shy of 2 months old now and I have a few questions. Like the title states this is my first grow and I've had a few hiccups along the way but I think I've got them to bounce back quite well. They both are roughly 2ft tall. I'm curious as to what kind of yield you guys think I can expect with these two? Also, is it ok if some of the pistils are turning orange/brown? Mainly I'm concerned about what the yield will be. I've also, done some trimming to the leaves, does that look ok? Or, is that not advised? Here are the pics and thanks in advance for any and all information you can give me. One love!
Side note, I'm using coco for cannabis' nute schedule and this weekend according to it, I should be switching to late bloom nutrients.I don't feel like my plants are in late bloom though. When do you guys suspect I'll be harvesting, a rough estimate?

I would say bloom nutes are indicated. Too many variables to guess on yield. looks like you have perhaps 6 weeks to go at a guess. Lots of opinions on leaf stripping. If you decide to strip leaves remove all of the leaves from the bottom 6-8". That way you get air circulating beneath the canopy which is important. once you do that give them time (a week) to recover from the stress.
As far as removing upper leaves it is up to you. Some do some dont some do light stripping and leaf tucking. If you remove leaves from the upper canopy then start with any large leaf that is shading a bud site. The idea is light penetration. If you look down at the plant it is pretty easy to see which ones are blocking light to lower structures. The rest is feel. Let your heart be your guide. If it feels good do it. If you want to experiment defoliate one hard and the other just light defoliation and leaf tucking. Get those bottoms cleaned up though. 1st. GL.
As always just my thoughts. There are strong opinions but no right or wrong way.

@Builder0101 Thanks a lot for your response. When it comes to trimming the leaves, I feel like it might help the plant put more of it’s energy into making buds. To be honest I actually like to do it and it hasn’t seemed to stress my plants out at all. As far as the yield goes, do you think I’ll at least get 1oz per plant??

Anymore advice or comments from anyone would be greatly appreciated

I do not think there is any dispute that leaves are the solar panels. leaves provide the energy for everything. personally I remove very few leaves during veg. I LST very heavy during veg. I tuck leaves extensively during veg. One trick to tucking is manipulating the leaf stem. I gently bend the stem along its length. As you will discover tucked leaves tend to unstuck themselves. By bending and training the leaf stem you can prevent it from popping back up. once it begins flower I remove select large fan leaves that are blocking the top of a potential cola so that it can stretch for the light. Only after stretch do I do any aggressive defoliation at all. I believe the plant will stack the buds that it is going to regardless of leaf density. Again the leaves are providing energy for growth (stretch is explosive growth). Once stretch stops I remove only large fan leaves regardless of weather they block cola tops or not. As flowering develops I remove any large fan leaves that develop. Over course by now I have exfoliated the lower 6, 8, 10" relative to the plants overall height. I also remove the tiny flowers that develop on the bottom.
