Once your seedling grows it second set of leaves. Keep your light low to keep the plant from stretching.
Which leads to the question what kinna light is over the seeds?
If you wanna get into growing for fun.
There is lots to be learnt.
Google auxins and GBA3.
That should keep you busy and away from the plants every 10 minutes.

I use biobizz light mix as my medium. Have for years. Although there's more exotic out there, it's what I'm used to, fits my meager budget, and grows my meds quite well. Built in perlite helps drainage.
I use BB right out of the bag with no amendments...DI water only...I grow in 2-3 ltr pots which are easy to feel weight but I still use a moisture meter. Overwatering/ feeding is the biggest cause of stunts etc.
When I first started growing, I blindly followed varied machinations of germing seeds...some good some bad but most required too much handling....as I began losing my dexterity, I had to find a simpler method...for years now, my seeds go straight to pot, controlled moisture and temp....99.9% germ.
I'm probably one of the simplest growers. My grow area is pretty much automatic with timers and temp controls that lets my weed grow with me on my couch enjoying last months bud. My tent is perpetual, year round, 6 plants of varying age ....with 2 finishing every 2-3 weeks.

Forgot to add...I actually grow with lights on 12/12 as I run photos alongside my autos in a bloom tent. Tent humidity is ambient as I intake outside air for temp stabilization.
I actually veg 24/0 in a bathroom cabinet where humidity is always high...move'm at 3-4 weeks.
All areas are always bulging with stinky stuff but I do like burning the evidence.
