Hey guys! I am on the flowering stage of my very first grow, and so far everything has been going great, but there is something that I am scratching my head about.

I am growing two autos from RoyalQueenSeeds in 11.4L (3 gal) pots, 2x2 tent. The one on the left is a Diesel Auto, and a Green Gelato Auto on the right.
Only thing I did was LST´ed them. They grew big and strong, no problems at all.

Thing is, the GG flowers are taking forever to develop, compared to the Diesel.

The GG is at the end of week 8. Diesel is 1 week younger, but is WAY more developed, which is curious because according to RQS datasheets, the Diesel should take longer from seed-harvest.

I´m guessing this is just a random occurrence, since environment, soil, food, water ph, lights, etc. were the same for both all along.
Any ideas? I am gonna just let her do her thing on her own time, just curious if there is something I´m missing here.

Thanks! :D

I’m no expert but I’m supposing it’s just because it’s two different strains. You can see the same variation amongst same strain grows so I would not be concerned at this point.

Yeah, I suppose you could be right! The only reason I was concerned is that the GG is a week older, and that strain should (in theory) take less time than the diesel.

Mother nature has her own schedule I guess :)

Different strains will develop at slower or faster than others but if they seem healthy i wouldn't worry bro

I Just finished my 1st grow in August, and both were of the same strain, and they looked nothing alike, reacted to the light differently, grew different, and all because in the end, they were still just individuals. All we gotta do is keep them healthy and tend to their individual needs. GL with the grow.

Hey guys! I am back with some feedback. The Green Gelato stayed like that for a while, then grew a little bit further. I think I got some lockout or something. It didnt grow big at all, but it is looking nice, buds are hard, sticky and frosty. Took a couple pics of the plant itself and the trichomes. Im thinking its almost there, maybe start flushing? What do you guys think?

Thanks!
