Okay, I am excited about my first grow. So tired of marginal quality crap and at 58, it's a little awkward to go out trolling for connections. So I got a gorgeous hand painted armoire with a clothes hanger thingy at the top that I hang my two 90 watt LEDs from. Cabinet is lined in Mylar. Got a tiny personal fan stuck somehow in the bottom with my 2 DNA lemons and my White Widow. Have to leave the door open a crack while the lights are on due to heat; no biggie. All the plants are A/F. They're really thick and so green they're almost green-blue. Growing every day, never drooping, no yellow leaves. Watering with a half strength mix of some hydro nute even though im growing in Fox Farm Ocean Floor. Really textbook grow! But I'm entering the fifth week, and no sign of flowers yet. I think. Should I be worried? Is there such a thing as plants never flowering?

5 weeks is a bit long for autoflowers to start flowering. Some take a long time, however I don't think the strains you have should take that long.

My advise would be to switch your lighting to 12/12 to see if it will induce flowering. If so then you probably have some photos. Maybe the genetics weren't stable. It's happened before.

I don't remember having seen anyone here growing any those DNA lemons. Also just checked their web site and they don't show a listing for an auto White Widow, so perhaps that is a photo period strain. In any case, the lemons should have sexed by now, so I suspect they may not at this point. The only option is to switch the lighting to 12/12 as suggested.

Thank you, thank you! I have switched to 12/12 and I will keep my fingers crossed.

I just checked the Girls, and there's definitely some thin, pale fringy things growing on both of the DNA auto fem lemons and the auto fem White Widow. I'm sure hoping for flowers. I'm just at the beginning of week 5. I'm looking forward to this harvest. It's been a long dry spell for this old hippie.

Hee hee! Thank you, pher. So satisfying to be in control ... At my age. My plants are around 6 inches tall and that wide, very full and leafy. Some of the very new growth looks like the beginnings of flowering, but maybe it's wishful thinking. Tomorrow is the middle of week 5. I guess I should think of throwing the plants out soon if they don't flower.

You will do great grandma. It can take up to two weeks before they show sex so patience is a must. Your little girls will be just fine.

Well, just goes to show how much you nice folks know. And by that I mean you all know quite a lot, because my girls now look exactly like the photos on the 'net and YouTube. They looked funny for several days, but now are flowering happily all over themselves! I can't believe how everything has just been so darned easy! Except for the one time I closed the box door and the temp got to 117 and the plants were sweating heavily all over the Mylar walls. I cooled them down, and they have recovered nicely and even forgiven me, thus the prolific flowere and no hermies. thank heavens I am slightly obsessed with them and check on them constantly.
A big thanks to everyone who answered me or read my posts. I'm gonna light one up for ya. After the harvest. Lol
