New Grower First grow ever ~~Amnesia auto! Early LST

Day 28,

I have a lot of lower bud sites that I don’t think will produce their full potential due to lack of light. The reason for no light is because how bushy she’s gotten. Should I trim the sites that aren’t getting light or should I trim leaves to get light to the sites? Here are a couple pictures.

Ohhhh yeah and check this out!! I’m not sure if this is a regular thing but I personally found this very interesting. One of the shoots has three nodes instead of 2 symmetrical ones...

When I run into the issue of light on lowers I LST as much as I can. Fold the leaves down and or around and only defoliate as a last resort before you get some good bud sights. The girls are looking great though. Once they start to flower they'll go into stretch mode and it's a little easier to LST them.

I agree, and get light to strongest bud sites. If you have a lower small bud site, I leave it and concentrate on the main ones rising to the top. When I top I usually remove the top two fan leaves and tuck the rest to get the buds to grow up.

Everything looks good, getting a ton of bud sites everywhere. I like what I’m seeing [emoji16]
She’s starting to stretch more now. Guessing this is an indicator that the flower cycle has started. Can’t wait !

Looks Good Bro Not sure I could give advice I'm on my second grow and I'm still a noob! But after reading your journal I would say just keep it simple don't try to do to much! But your Grow is looking good

That is a very healthy looking plant. I agree with the other posters that have recommended not trimming lower growth yet. Most of my experience is with photo period plants, but I waited until a couple weeks in to bloom before trimming lower budsites. I've been surprised a few times by what I thought would be useless lower popcorn sites. Stretch kicked in, and in days I had a long branch I could train out into the light. Nice work so far!

What’s up guys,
So today is day 38!

The girls are looking good! I flushed 4 days ago for the transition from veg to flower an they got their first flower feed today. I also went ahead an plucked all small bud sites and did a solid defo that So I could promote growth an get light to upper bud sites.Not to sure what plants are suppose to look like at this stage being my first time grow but I think I’m on the right track. Hopefully these bud sites really fatten up with a bloom feeding!
