New Grower First Grow - Blue AutoMazar - Yellow spotting

Small update here, day 46. Just an amazing amount of growth that I honestly was not expecting.

As I've witnessed it getting bigger, I've been worried that I need more light. Having maxed out the amount of bulbs I can plug in, my options were more e26 sockets and splitters, or a complete led grow unit. Well, decided to bite the bullet and bought a marshydro 48 reflector. Hopefully it'll get here soon! And hopefully the end of purchases of lights.

Yes, there is a website called growweedeasy.com. It addressed this issue with a lot more great info. Check it out

It does mention using cal mag plus with fox farm trio, but talks about it more as an extra and not a requirement. It doesn't warn that LEDs increase the likelihood of a cal mag deficiency.

I've been looking around for exact instructions on the use of bushdoctor sledgehammer. Is it used on water only days? Do you mix it in and water like normal, or do you immediately chase it through with water that does not have sledgehammer? Found many comments online about having dead plants after use, want to make sure I get it right.

Tight work man....Looks good. Keep the nutes at half strength for veg. In flower it's game on, some leaves may take a slight hit from burn but keep pushing her. Feed once a week, water the rest.

Hello afn!
After reading, preparing and wanting to grow for the past 2 years, I finally got the chance to do it. I'm now around day 33 and I'm feeling my plant is not where it should be. I'm concerned about yellow and brown spots i'm seeing, and curious if its growing unusually slow. But first my setup:

Space - 3"x3"x6" tent
Light - LEDs
Hyperikon x 4 ($12 per bulb)
14W actual (100W equiv), 1250 lumens, PAR38 with 40 degree beam, CRI 93+, R9>90, 2700Kelvin
Others (Cree) x 3
(My initial chooses in lights, quality LEDs but bad optics. 2 Omni-direction + 1 120 degree, sending light everywhere. Hope to retire these and use more hyperikon, plant seems to like these.
Medium
Fox Farm Ocean Forest with about 35% perlite
Nutrients
Fox Farm Trio
Specialty Equipment you've obtained (pH meter, ppm/tds meter, soil probe, etc)
color pH Tester from General Hydroponics
No ppm or em meter, might need to get that soon...
Journal: Not much, just water as need. Some attempts at low stress training, not sure how effective I was.
Feeding journal: No nutrients for the first 4 weeks, just started nutrients at 1/4 recommend, every other watering. Intend to increase feed if safe. Water every 3 days.

day 33
1st concern - Yellow spotting that is occurring on LOWER leaves only. Here's some pictures:

2nd concern - overall growth. Should my plant be bigger, with maybe more space between nodes. Maybe nitrogen deficient? I have given it very little nitrogen nutrients because I've been lead to believe FoxFarm Ocean Forest is "hot" and provides enough for the first month. I've found this might be based on old mixes though.

How's the branching? (I've never even seen a cannabis plant in person before, just the flowers.)

How's the positioning of the lights? (Side lights are off right now.)

Didn't want to bore you all with a novel, hope that this is just enough. I noticed john0108 is also growing the same strain and is having some troubles as well, but I'm not sure its the same cause. It actually looks like his is growing bigger.
Appreciate any and all help!

to be honest ..to me its does not look like a Ndef..it looks like Ntox and why I say this is because the pictures you provided it looks like you have "claw downwards" witch would be Ntox...im going through the same if you look at my grow..but I'm not as far as you..but I'm nobody..and you shouldn't listen to me..but from my knowledge it looks like you have too much N in your medium.

So after about 2 weeks of almost no growth and no trichromes, I decided to use sludgehammer, to clear away any root or pH problems that might be the cause. It seemed to do the trick, as the plant responded with a renewed vigor and buds start slowly creeping in.
However, after a day or two, humidity shot up to 80%. My ventilation was set to 5 minutes on, 55 minutes off, but is now set to 15 minutes on, 15 off to maintain at 50% RH (Intake air is around 50%).

So is it far to say I did have a pH or root problem, by the fact that the plant suddenly consumes (and transpirates) alot more water than right before the flush?

While the flush was 5 days and the buds have shown progress, it appears I have yet another issue. From looking at examples, my guess is phosphorus. Appreciate any help!

And the plant's progress...

Today I checked the run off and I'm back at 5.0ph or lower. I just did a 8 liter flush with sledgehammer about a week ago and now ph is way off again. Every time I add water or feed, pH is adjusted to 6.0 - 6.5.
So...
- Is there something about the soil (FFOF) that I'm not understanding?
- Should I not be adjusting the water/feed or adjust to a different range?
- Is there possibly something wrong with the microbial life in the soil?

I'm getting a little desperate, as I've been having pH problems for a month. So tomorrow I'm strongly thinking about getting some AN Sensi Bloom and hope that pH perfect will help me out. Sledgehammer flush and maybe half strength on the sensi bloom and cal-mag.
Few more questions...
- Is my Botanicare Cal Mag compatible with Sensi bloom, especially the pH perfect part?
- If I did have an issue with microbial life, would adding something like Voodoo juice help?

Would really appropriate any help on this.
