I'd like to be able to grow say 4 plants at a time . Originally I was thinking a room or tent in the attic . Well after doing some research it would be cost prohibitive / not feasible . Major problem will be ambient temps & or high RH . I'm considering a 4 x 4 tent inside a spare room . Room is on a central HVAC system . Additional window unit if needed no problem . One of my concerns is fresh air for plants . Will air from the room itself suffice or would an exterior source be best ? If exterior source should it be same size as exhaust / scrubber or larger ? Because of temp / rh issues I intend to exchange tent air once every minute . 4 x 4 a 6" exhaust should move the 218cfm I'm specing with almost the same in reserve for extra warm / stinky days . With filter / scrubber sized to handle full fan speed hopefully it'll run at reduced speed majority of the time . So to begin I'll list tent , fan & light that I think will work . Hopefully you folks can give input & knowledge gained from your experience .
Tent - From what I've read these are a consumable as they wear out . Some appear shoddy like they're made from shower curtains . The Gorilla brand seems to be robust but pricey . Don't mind paying for superior equipment , but have zero experience with grow tents . Not stuck on 4 x 4 but it seems enough room for my initial plan with enough size for 2 photoperiod Sativa's if trained .
Fan - Have been looking at the 6" Infinity S60 . With a good carbon filter I believe it'll do . Now would it be better to go with say an 8" fan / filter & the ability to run it even slower to move the same volume ? Was thinking either exhausting into attic or return air duct for central HVAC ( just let HVAC blower run all the time ) .
Light - With my temps I believe LED will be best with drivers outside of tent . For a 4 x 4 I'm thinking HLG 600 or 550 V2 . I'm sure there's many good lights & the QB's ? COB's look intriguing . Not sure I've sufficent skills to go the DIY route or not .
OK I think that's enough for now . Just doing my homework prior to jumping off . Any advice / reccomendations etc gratefully accepted .

I run a 4x4 in a spare room. No issues.

Exhaust fan size. 6 is fine 8 is fantastic. You can always turn it down... you can't turn the other to 11...
Your light choice is great, it would be my choice if putting together another setup. Thumbs up on the V-2 R spec.
I currently run a 9 COB DIY. Works great, but, if cost wasn't an issue, I'd step up to either the 550 or the 600V2.
Tents... I've ran an Apollo now for almost 4 years and haven't had any issues. But, it has been set up and not moved. Zippers are fine, seams fine. I'll be buying their 4x8 when the time comes.

Hello Boatbum! Sounds like you are off to a pretty good start there. My first grow was in a 5x5 gorilla shorty with HLG lights. Their lights are legit and I would say worth every penny. Regarding air movement and stuff, I originally had no exhaust system, Just passive intakes with fans on the inside, I would just open my tent wide open to burp it if it got to hot or humid lol. (fun times) I run a T6 cloudline from infinity in a 12x12 room now and believe it or not it exhaust it just fine. So in a 4x4 tent I would say it would more than get the job done. But I will say that almost everyone wants to expand at some point so if you can swing a bigger one, go for it for sure.

Exhaust / scrubber is gonna be a necessity . Besides hot & muggy temps I dang sure don't want the neighbors / passerbys getting skunked . Another reason I thought along overkill .
