Hello :toke:

I am looking for some tips on these two girls here.. currently ~day 32 from seedling. In 5 gal fabric pots with fox farm happy frog/perlite mix over a 600 watt LED running 20/4. I started nutrients week 3, quarter strength calmag/fox farm big bloom. Then week 4 quarter strength calmag/big bloom & grow big. Always distilled water with pH between 6.0-6.2. Have plenty of air circulation in tent and humidifier maintaining 45-50% humidity. Both are currently sitting about 7 inch tall.

The plants have really picked up growing since adding nutrients, however I am concerned they are not actually green crack autoflower. Is there any way to tell if these plants are photo? Is it too late to start LST? Do they look healthy? Any advice seriously appreciated

Thanks!

Thanks for quick response and I look forward to being on afn, have learned so much from here already even before registering :hump:. I typed that wrong -- they are green crack and supposed to be 8 week autoflower. I just don't see how that can be possible when it is almost week 6..

lol, nah, u typed right, my stoned brain jus read it wrong...kinda...sorta...or sumthin :jointman: and well, hmmm, i have to agree they should have more growth at this stage if they were full autoz...however, sumtimez, even tho it'z suppozed to be an auto, a wee too much photo getz into the pheno, and well, i'll let u guess the rest of the story, lol :coffee: ppp

May I ask where you obtained the genetics?

I ask this because in my experience any auto I've grown (unless a mutation or part of the genetic makeup) starting from the bottom the fans that feed the nodes NOT ALWAYS but 90% of the time are one finger on the 1st 3 on the 2nd and 5 on the 3rd. The growth looks to be showing the characteristics of a photo period but still could be an auto.

2Fast4Buds. From your advice at what point would you be able to tell if its an auto? Like would it just start flowering without switching the light cycle to 12/12

5 gallon.
Autos with more leg room will run longer and take longer to flower. I have had 1 strain run 65 days all others fell between 70 and 90 days. Seed to harvest.

Thanks for this info matey - guess i'll pick up some 3 gallons and try those out next time, compare yields

3 gal is plenty for indoor... 1 gallon go off even faster, but your yields per plant may suffer. Just finishing a run in 1 gallon as apposed to my normal 3 gallon. Run was intended for seed, but my male fell thru... anyhow, I grow in a 4x4, and expect between 650 and 850 grams on a normal run, normally I would run 4, maybe 5 3 gallon bags, this run, 9 1 gallon bags. The tent will still yield between 650 and 850 grams dry.
