Indoor First Grow 27 days in. New to AFN, wanting to share the Experience.

Hi there Loic you have a nice grow going there. the problem with your plants not reaching for the sky, is one I often have as well
DSCN2578.JPG But , I have found that they will for the most part grow out of it DSCN2750.JPG DSCN2751.JPG sorry about the photos ,,I di do some pining of the stems and folding fans, but other wise let them be.
well that's what works for me, I'm sure someone will tell you different

Day 29

the girls are really starting to show some vigor now, i got side shoots coming along pretty well too.
They looks very ealthy and bushy as hell. Looks like my amateur LSTing is doing a good job.

I had to water HD which is in a smaller (air) pot than the rest, she was all droopy yesterday coming back from work. gave her 1 l feed hoping that next time she dries up, it will be in the same time as the other three so i can water them all at the same time.

I gave her Aptus Start booster and alga grow , and i ll explain you the process here, for those who are not used to measuring by drops:
She showed a bit of NTox last feeding so i went easy on her.
Aptus: recommended 2.5ml for 10l
1ml= 30 drops ==> 2.5 x 30 for 10l = 75 drops for 10l
so for 1 l , divide all that by 10
75 drops divided by 10 = 7.5 drops for 1 l

i wanted a light dose so i divided the recomended dose by 2
7.5 / 2 = 4 drops

Alga Grow: 4ml per litter recomended,
so i put in 1/2 dose, 2ml

48h Bubbled water

My solution was a bit low pH, and i only have pH down (...) so i thought i d put in a pinch of food grade baking soda (sodium bi carbonate NaHCO3)
The solution went up at pH6.2 bang on

What do you guys think of using NaHCO3 for pH up? not too sure about that move, it could react with elements in the solution. plus, added salt might not be the best idea. Had the time i thought that was pretty smart, but thinking back on it , i m not that sure any more.

Yeah Man! I want that bushyness too!
Your stems look just like i want mine to become, 5 or 6 main branches.

Thank you for the reassuring words

I don't think using the soda once will hurt but I read a grow recently and they used it thru grow it did not come out good but I have no idea how much they were using i don't know what I'm going to do growing organic I only have bottled ph down and up I bought lemon juice and soda but after seeing those plants I don't know if I will it was salt build up that got them.

i remember reading, i think it was here on afn , maybe the 'grow one with FD post' or the ' guide to grow hefty autos'

https://www.autoflower.org/threads/fds-guide-to-growing-hefty-autos-in-small-places.206/

https://www.autoflower.org/threads/grow-one-with-fd.2916/

where he said , using 48 h bubbled water allowed a much more fluctuating pH of the feed solution without negative effect.
i think he even said he was just barely checking pH , if at all, with the liquid tester ( meaning, not the 'pen one')
i ll keep thinking about a Alkaline product ( pH upper, in other word) that is not salt heavy,

well, what about dairy? milk product? powdered milk ? infused crushed limestone maybe?

just throwing stuff out there

Here are the Pics yo!
