First Ever Grow: Beginner Questions

Thanks for the recommendations chase! I just hit up Marshydro.

I’ll wait a while for them to get back to me. Think I’m going with the new TS3000 though!

Looks like a good light...I like the open bar style ones...less heat better coverage....uv and iR included....

Hmmm, my tent is in my basement, so I need a light that adds some warmth. My tent is only 65 degrees with my little VS1000. Was mid 70s with the VS4000. Now I’m second guessing my decision on the TS3000! Haha - should I get one of the bar lights instead? Decisions decisions

Will the FCE3000 bar light add enough warmth to my tent do you think? If so, I’ll go that route instead. Thanks Chase!

Looking at the FCE4800. It says 4x4. Does that mean it wouldn’t leave room for anything else in the tent?

I got the fce 3000 in a 27x27x63. It only at 50% as high as i can get it. So I think 4800 will do just fine in a 4x4. I would say the 4800 will be a tight fit but worth it. You dont wanna skimp on the light. Mine there is only like an inch or 2 around the light to the tent walls.

Thanks man. Can I expect them to give off some warmth? My tent is only 65 degrees with my little baby light. Should I worry about the 4800 rubbing against the tent walls when I have my in-line fan on?

not a whole lot man. My tent is upstairs and dont get over 72. And my can fan is only on 3. But i use a little heater outside the tent blowing toward but pretty far away to my intake vent works good. Those light are pimp. They got uv which not many lights have. Especially at that price. the way mine is set up is I only have my filter in the tent up as high as i can get it and got it lined up with the space between the bars. If you got all your stuff above the light should have no problem with the light touching the sides. But i dont know your set up
