New Grower First ever grow: AutoWhite Widow, OG Kush Auto, Solarflare LEDs

It's one less variable, that's why I use it. Happy Frog comes with some nutes in it, which will effect how your other nutes work. If you are looking to figure out a schedule, it's easier if the only nutes are the ones you add. Will you get better results? That's a roll of the dice and your ability to recognize what the plants need when they need it.
It's not too late to change my soil this grow. I believe the only factor that changes is I need to lower my pH for soilless. I think that bag of soil only cost $15, so I wouldn't sweat it if I tossed it.

I wouldn't necessarily chuck it. You've seen my plants meef. I hardly use npk till they're well into the veg stage. Haven't had any problems with the happy tree frog. I add perlite for a very well draining soil then add Azomite mineral powder to my mix. Haven't run into hot soil yet from it.

Using the ph perfect line of advanced nutrients and running pro mix ..... that's my exact setup as you know... I used to ph my water after nutes to 6.2 for soiless... well the last 2 grows per AN help support I dropped the ph pen.... using the ph perfect line even though it is 6.5 after I mix I know from checking so many times I just water... so mix and water no ph balance addatives and I have had 0 problems....

And I second the others... when your dialing in your feed and perfecting it with AN having a neutral base with 0 nutes allows you to do that perfectly

Sigh.. Maybe next grow. I already have my feed schedule set and have my soil mixed. I'm so back and forth with decisions. I think I'm going to commit to soil this grow and see how my light distances, new feed schedule, and ponytailing will change things.

And some OG Kush. She dried gorgeously. Every bud looks like this.
