Ok what I have is a 20 inch by 5 ft. by 8 ft. reg. clothes closet.
Lighting is a single 300 watt LED light panel.
Soil is Lowes brand organic potting soil with FFOF mixed in 3 to 1.
Planted in 3 gal. nursery pot.
Root plug with the Shark brand mico's.
Nutrients are AF Sensi Grow and Sensi Bloom PH Perfect.
Water has been reg. tap water sat out for a couple days.
Small fan and small heater also being used.
Strain Dinafem white widow. Went with it as it was a Herbies freebie and felt this was the one to practice with.
Seed was put into a soaked plug with mico's. and planted into soil on Jan. 30th. This pic. if I can do it is today. Am I doing ok or should this youngun be farther along? Thanks.

Light was at 28 inches for the first 7 days then I lowered to 18 as I felt she wasn't getting what she needed.plain water the first 6 days then 1mil. of the sensi grow A and B plus 1 mil. of calmag. per half liter. Fed same this morn. thats where we stand. Oh yeah PH checked with a cheap meter is showing 6.8. Nothing to check run off with.

Looking good. Welcome. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need, there are alot of nice and knowledgeable people here.

Well pics. of a couple days later. I watered yest. 1/2 a liter with 2 mil. of sensi grow A and same with B. Plus 1 mil. calmag. To me she seems ok but as I looked at todays pics. I'm seeing some form of white hair or something right at the start of new growth. Not sure what to do if anything. Thanks for the above welcomes.002.jpg003.jpg004.jpg005.jpg

Well Ive not watered or fed last couple days and raised the light back up to 28 inches. She's not too big yet and I believe I need to break out a better cam. than this cell as I'm not sure what i'm seeing in the pick of her under parts. lol The temp is pretty steady 80 degree's humidity at 30%. PH I'm not sure anymore so I just ordered an accurate 8. Any thoughts on how it's doing?004.jpg003.jpg

At about what age of this plant should I be able to tell sex?

It varies between strains but on average it's around two to three weeks from sprout.

Hey Mr. Cutrite,

She looks nice and green. I think it could be a bit bigger, but if you are a fairly new grower, I wouldn't sweat it.

I would look at your plugs. I figure you would get about three, maybe four days until your roots are growing into your soil (from sprout). But the nutrients in your soil are probably too harsh for your spoutlings. until about 10 days or so, depending on the strain as Namvet says. If you dig out a hole in your soil and use seedling mix to fill the hole, this maybe solves the problem, letting your roots grow into the nutrient rich soil you have mixed up.

I am only offering an opinion, ultimately it is your choice. Each time we grow we learn stuff.

Hope you grow em big my friend.
