First Container Grow-Finished!

You can Google vapor pressure deficit. The problems I saw in the article look almost exactly like this. You may have to adjust the temperature or the humidity level to fix it. I'm not saying this is definitely the problem or the solution but it's worth reading.
Unfortunately, I’m growing outside so I’m at the will of the weather.:eek1:

But you are bringing them inside at night, Could you put it in a closet or bathroom or some other smaller space with a de-humidifier and a fan?

Just trying to think proactively. Even if its only in good conditions half the time, it's better than being in less desirable conditions all the time.

I like the way you think through solutions. Unfortunately, the odor keeps me from bringing it inside. It comes in to a basement/crawl space at night. I’ve got a cheap bulb for some supplemental light and have 2 fans blowing in air. Space is vented to the outside in several areas so a humidifier makes almost no impact.

@Waira : I thought it was an article you shared on VPD (vapor pressure deficit). But I can't find it now.

It's in the Reference Section guys, in the Infirmary subforum....
The surface damage looks like thrips snacking on the sap! They are very mobile, often not seen at the scene of the crime :cuss:..leafhoppers and kin cause similar damage, ditto on being sneaky.... Infestations can be treated with a spinosad containing product, but scope the plant out top/bottom/underneath leaves for eggs and less mobile larvae... They will still actively evade you while you hunt, so keep that in mind!

I like spinosad products because it's food safe, minimal residue, low odor, and breaks down outside after a week or so.... again, use a wetting agent when applying, far better effectiveness! I like Coco-Wet best...

I’ll definitely give it a closer once over. Haven’t seen signs of any sneaky buggers. How careful do I need to be with spinosad getting on buds?

Day 60 for this White Widow auto. Since I’m only growing one plant, I’ve been keeping this in full sun during the day and then under a cheap, hillbilly rigged bulb in the crawl space at night for supplemental light. Seems to really like the combo of sun and the grow light. Buds are really fattening up the last couple days. I believe that most of the issue I was having was caused by intense sun and heat it was in for a few days, along with the black container getting really hot and soaking up that sun. The dirt must have been really hot! Seems happy even though it looks like it’s been beaten like a rented mule :deadhorse:

My first container grow is complete!
Shout out to @Tessamaria @Tmonney @Little Brother @Waira and @420Forever for the wisdom and encouragement!
White Widow Auto from Crop King
3 gallon container with Biobizz Light.
Full sun during the day, hillbilly supplemental light in the crawl space at night

Ran 20/3 light schedule
Fed Sensi Bloom every other watering after 21 days. Molasses on the watering between Sensi Bloom.
Buds were decent sized and tighter than my summer garden grow.

Don’t have a scale, here’s the result dried and jarred.

That’s a wrap on my first growing season. 2 in ground and 1 container. Being able to get my girl in at night for supplemental light (low rent @derek420colorado style) and out of the rain was nice compared to the stress of my first in ground grow.

The AFN crew made sure This noob got across the finish line with both harvests! You all have an outstanding community here!! Time to start shopping for seeds and prepping for spring!!! ✌️☮️
