Indoor First autogrow Onyx, Big Devi and White Dwarf

Here is my first attempt at Autoflowers so feel free to join in and comment, critisize, help, or just watch.

I've started with :
3 Short Ryder Onyx-2 seeds in 5gal (US)Pots 1 seed in a 3 gal(US) pot
3 Sweet Seeds Big Devil-3 in 5 gal pots
3 Buddha White Dwarf.-3 in 3 gal pots

Soil:
1/3 Fox Farm Ocean Forrest
1/3 Organic Miracle Grow
1/3 Ace Hardware brand potting soil..(it's inexpensive and has a high coir ratio to soil)

Grow Room:
55"x55"x84" Grow tent
2 600w HPS with hoods
2 160cfm inline fans
1 stationary hanging fan(not picture)
1 oscillating adjustable pedestal fan

I planted the seeds directly into the pots.

I first waterd the soil in the pots thouroghly and let them drain for about ten minutes. I then planted the seeds by pushing my fingertip into the soil making a small dent in the center of the pot, placed the seeds about 1/4 inch deep then covered the seeds and gently(so as not to disturb the soil) I poured a half of cup water directly over the just planted seeds.

As of Wednsday the 30th of November all the seeds except one WD have sprouted.
Today the WD is still M.I.A. and after gently moving the dirt around I could not find the seed or evidence of germination.
The sprouts are between 1 and 3 inches tall already with primary leaves starting to form on the BD.

I'll post more pic's as soon as the sprouts look like plants.

If anybody else has grown these strains, I would really appreciate any feedback.

Fantastic set up!!! I've grown Onyx...while not the gentle giant(mine got 13-14"), the results will have you grinning!! Also reaped pollen and have a few of my own crosses now. Others you're doing....I've grown other strains from Sweet Seeds....great breeder! Buddha, I have 3-4 seeds from them as Pick & Mix and have yet to plant. Buddha's Syrup (3 plants) I did outdoors, then moved into greenhouse in early Oct. Nice taste, great buzz but a runt as far as heighth. It was a freebie. Prefer others w/ more yield. Good luck....you're going to enjoy your adventure w/ AF's!!

I just added a 3 week old (photo period Norther Lights) in a 5 gal pot to the room. She's destined for motherhood so she'll fit right in the 18/6 schedule.

I'm a little concerned your mix is on the hot side. Autos are fickle as seedlings. They don't like the hot mixes. Have you used that mix for seeds before?

I've used this for my last three grows. I almost always start from seed in the pots they will finish in.I've never had a problem with this mix. It sets the ph right at 6.5.But again, this is my first autogrow. The sprouts are growing nicely right nowWhen I first started growing I was using Fox Farm Ocean Forrest by itself and with the Miracle Grow. I've never had a problem of it being too hot. The addition of the high coir content Ace Hardware dirt was it keeps the soil quite a bit looser and it's cheap. ( ($20.00 for 2.5 cft bag)

Wow you have me there thefoo, I just received the seeds a couple of weeks ago from Attitude. The advertisement never mentioned whether these were first or second generation. I would assume(probably incorrectly) that the seeds would be the latest generation. This is my first autogrow and I'm kind of excited as to how it will go.

You will like autos. It's nice to check on your girls and get the 'hey you're making buds' surprise! Not to mention less grow space management. One space for both flowering and veg.

Everything is going along well. The 2 600w make the tent glow like a nuclear reactor. I have them about 40" above the seedlings so I'll probably get some stretch but all my flouro's are being used elswhere right now and once the girls get a little tougher I'll lower the lights. I've also added two more fans to the room as It was getting pretty warm at 85 f. The 2 extra fans keep it right at 80 f

I my humidifiers greatly help with the heat acting like a swamp cooler and removing the need for fans inside the tent. You might be able to stick a small one in there near the 3g pots. Don't get the 'ultrasonic' ones. They suck and dirty up really fast if you don't use RO/distilled water. I started out with a cheap one from target.
