Alrite ppl, I've been meanin to get into growing for years finally I've got the time now and I'll be buyin autoflower seeds from my local head shop next week. I've been readin up loads but theirs a few noob questions I have so if anyone could reply with answers I'd be very greatful.. My first post on this forum.. Thanks peeps.. :) . 1. I'm using the soil CF meantioned as a guideline: 25lb bag of compo
18Qt Bag perlite
3 cups of Blood and bone Meal
1.5 cups of powdered egg shells
1.5 Cups of Epsom salt
1/2 cup of sea weed kelp
1 cup of powdered baby cereal. I was wondering would it be ok after I germinated my seed to put it straight into a mix like this without worrying about it being burnt! 2. I'm not going to feed until week 2/3, would I start with veggin nutrients at that stage or go straight into flowering?as it will be flowering by that stage. 3. How many plants could I put at once under a 250w hps light and how far should I keep the light away from the plants? Also what would be a good n-p-k ratio for flowering nutrients? Thanks ppl.. I think I no most answeres but its always good to hear from others to make sure.. :)

Welcome to the forum candy!

I, personally, would germ right into that soil, if I knew I had a strain that wasn't too sensitive.
You'll have to let your plants tell you what they need at around 3 - 4 weeks. Some will be quite happy and others very hungry. You see how they look and then you'll know what they need.
I use cfls, so I'd GUESS that two plants would thrive under that light with the right temps, air and food.

I wish you all the best

i always water the soil until full runoff and let it set a couple of days to drain away the sogginess. Then plant the seed directly into the pot & soil it will finish in. always works well. GL

I would start with veg nutes even at the beginning of flowering. Muddy has an article that tells you about the lifetime of autos, based on each week. Look it up, it has been a help to me also. I use 400 W of CFL lights, so dont know much about hps. Good luck with your grow.
