heya @The bear 88 and to afn! the plantz will grow their whole cycle under cfl jus fine, but it'z uzually at a cost of overall yield & def denseness...and well, hps def get hot, so... otherz will chime in & anything else u need, jus give a holler

Hello everyone I'm only new to this site and learning loads every time I come online,
I'm currently doing my first autoflower grow,,, I'm growing 5 BCN critical xxl 1 OG Kush and 1 Kings kush,,, the sour orange freebee failed germinating,,
I'm using Cfls, 1 red 125w and a blue 300w, might change to a 600w hps tho, the tents a 120x120x200 Mars hydro, here's some pics of them all just after getting potted up hope yous enjoy my first auto grow

Having trouble keeping temps up, with fans on I'm around 17c/ 19c, that's only intake and outtake and not including the oscillating fan, I'd say I would be lower with that on,
when I seal up the tent and turn off fans and leave no vents or gaps open it's 25c/26.5, thinking of putting a 1000w heater that I hope I can dial in the right temps, it has 3 heat settings and a dial four lower and higher, any advise for using this heater,, shout away, on a brighter note, I'm on day 2 and all 7 seeds have broken soil, will remove the humidity cups tonight, just hope the heater can get me sweet temps inside the tent.

Dude I use a CMH 315w which puts out loads of heat, it also depends if you have it in a sealed area and how much you need it to heat up lol...but I have loads of room to work under mine(and I think HPS put out more heat than my light too due to higher voltage dude)

Might get the 600w hps, I want to have loads of room underneath, not liking the way the cfls have to be right up close just to get the right temps, hps should push light down through to the lower areas, and I should be able to manage heat then via the fans, either passive or active, just have to wait a few weeks to buy the new light,

If that is an oil filled radiator it might be thermostatically controlled....Nice!!

The Og kush seedling was the first to break soil but is in last place now in regards to growing, is this just to do with the strain or is it it because the bcn is a xxl strain and therefore a bigger plant to begin with if you know what I mean, or does xxl refer to the yeild?

I dropped my fan this morning and the motor and fan broke off the part it was attached to,,
Really annoying as I have just got my temperature and humidity levels right,,,

But I will not be stopped lol,, a few screws an old flower pot and some wire will fix it, lol

it's actually more powerful now than it was before,
