Hey i am totally new to autoflowering so this will be my very first grow so to anyone that is experienced in autoflowering id appreciate some of yer advice it would be very much appreciated.
I should start with i am growing Sweet Seeds Bloody Skunk, 00 Seeds Auto Northern Lights, 00 Seeds CheeseBerry and Dinafems RoadRunner i have just germinated 3 Northern Lights 2 CheeseBerry 2 RoadRunners and the Bloody Skunk is on day 6 at the moment. The others have only just been planted today in which i used the water method for 24 hours 5 of 7 have cracked the 2 dinafems are still in water as there was no sign of cracking yet.I had started with a coco and perlite mix which failed miserably at the start so i decided to buy Westland`s Jack Magics Compost which has a seaweed extract but for better aeration i have mixed the coco/perlite with that mix and i must say its alot better then my attempts with just coco/perlite.
For the set up of the grow drobe its 4 and a half feet in height 3 feet length 2 and a half feet in depth and just have a normal desk fan which at first i had it on full to the omega 600 watt dual spectrum bulb with a euro reflector now i have just decided to have it closer to the pots blowing over them and also have a Temp reader roughly reads between 21 degrees at lowest to 27 degrees at highest it was higher when i start off nearly hitting 32 degrees but i read up and found a simple method for humidity by hanging a wet towel in the room and also moving the back wall of the wardrobe for better air circulation. I went off to the grow shop and bought some proper 11 litre pots 6 of them and just using 2 normal pots one 12.5 litre one 10 litre and there about 22 inches from the light the wardrobe is right beside a window for fresh air intake as i keep the doors a small bit open on the wardrobe and window is open 24 hours a day.
The Nutes i have is Bio-bizz Root Juice, Bio-bizz Grow, Bio-bizz Bloom, Bio-Bizz Top Max, Canna Pk13-14 and Sensi`s CalMag also have a Ph reader and have ordered a Humidity sensor which i am still wating on.
Now i made some major mistakes at the start a few weeks ago with overwatering nute burn and light burn so i did a good bit more reading up so i have decided for the first 3 weeks i am giving no nutes in the mix bar Biobizz Root Juice there is enough feed in the Jacks Magic for 4 to 5 weeks so i think around week 3 or 4 i will start to add 0.5ml to a litre of water of Boibizz Grow and start from there. I have only watered the bloody skunk once in the 6 days and wont be watered again till Saturday so roughly at the start every 4 to 5 days.
