naa, that's not over-kill... you'll be fine!New light is on! I can get it to about 28inches in height above the top of my girl, if it needs to go higher I would need to figure out how I can shorten the supporting cables down more.
With 200w from wall i should get some pretty good light penetration, just hope it's not overkill. Worst case scenario I save this light for when I have a slightly larger tent (new space and wife permitting of course).
All I have left to get is an air scrubber with exhaust fan. Might pick that up in a few weeks.
So one negative with the new light right now is an extreme temperature jump up to 85-89 degrees. This is with the fan blowing and all 3 Intakes open.
I have an air scrubber and exhaust fan on the way so here's hoping that will solve the problem.
I think 82ish is decent temps..89 is pushing it a bit, but not out of control. My cab runs 82-85 and about 90 a few hours of the day when the sun shines through the window onto the cab. For LEDs i think 85 is a fine temp!!
Mine came yesterday! Un-boxed, plugged in and works great!
