So one negative with the new light right now is an extreme temperature jump up to 85-89 degrees. This is with the fan blowing and all 3 Intakes open.

I have an air scrubber and exhaust fan on the way so here's hoping that will solve the problem.

You can always look at topping if the height is an issue or you may have to LST or super crop.

New light is on! I can get it to about 28inches in height above the top of my girl, if it needs to go higher I would need to figure out how I can shorten the supporting cables down more.

With 200w from wall i should get some pretty good light penetration, just hope it's not overkill. Worst case scenario I save this light for when I have a slightly larger tent (new space and wife permitting of course).


All I have left to get is an air scrubber with exhaust fan. Might pick that up in a few weeks.

89 is pushing it a bit, but not out of control. My cab runs 82-85 and about 90 a few hours of the day when the sun shines through the window onto the cab. For LEDs i think 85 is a fine temp!!

I think 82ish is decent temps..

Thanks for the input guys. My only issue with the higher temp is that it seems to be being drying out the top of my pots real fast and then within an hour or so it goes right into the next half inch of the soil

Mine came yesterday! Un-boxed, plugged in and works great!

Are you noticing any temp issues with this light? It seems to be running just so hot for me, putting temps in the tent by almost 20 degrees.

Day 25 - Things are still looking ok here. I just got my scrubber and exhaust but need to figure out how to get it hanging at the top since I'm tight on space with the light hanging there. Going to take a look tomorrow and see what I can do.

Blue cush is looking good to me and I'm not noticing any issues yet as a result of the heat so I'm hoping I can pump some of that out before any problems arise.

Feeding had been about 400ml a day from the 1g/gal megacrop with a few mistings as the medium getting dry pretty quick.
