High!

Am having an Onyx, with 9 fingers and was wondering what those numbers in general means?

3, 5, 7, 9, 11 fingers fan leaves.

Thanks, peace!

Hey tokaite, it is generally bred that way. Some people try to breed for less fingers to increase light penetration into the plant and some breed for more fingers to increase photosynthesis.

Hey A4
Thanks man i got the same question i got one plant with 12 finger leaves.
cu tobe

Twelve fingers are you sure? Pictures?

Generallly 3 finger means indica, 5 are hybrids/autos and I believe 7 is sativa. I've never seen or hear of 9 or 11 fingers I gotta see that!

My autos had 5 when indica dominant (Northern Lights and Royal Critical) and Think Different has got 7, dominant sativa.

11 fingers ..... Not uncommon at all

I prefer using pollen from my an 11 fingered phenotype. The offspring of the white widow cross are almost exclusively sativa dominant. None of the F1 offspring had less than 7 fingers, but the leaves are enormous (Although still slender).

I just love the look of a long legged sativa with sparce, but large 9 or 11 fingered leaves.
