Indoor Fimming and topping and cropping

Just to clarify I grow both, Seperate tents :)

I love AF's through and through, but there's a need for photos too.

If I want a guaranteed big yield I run an AF-SOG, if I just wanna try out some stuff then I run AF's in bigger pots and keep space to keep my cuttings in there too. Plus it saves some leccy having a 12/12 space.

Maybe people topped AF's back when they were all dwarf-like, LR1 and such, then the rule got written in stone. Who has just heard topping is bad and passes that info on... and who has actually topped an auto and watched for themselves?

Like I said it's strain dependant. The AF's I grow I wouldn't do a late LST personally, i'd do it once they got to around the 5th node, but what's wrong for some is right for others.

There is another guy on here that swears by topping at the 4th node. I may try this.

I topped a lowrider2 and it hermied, but it is a fast finisher, 60 days. I tried it on a super stinky and it worked great. So I also beleive that it depends on the strain. I would think that it works best with the 100 day + finishers. What do I know? Im a novice. woohoo, Im serious about the woohoo.

I know what topping is but what is fimming? If your gals are getting to high you can slowly bend them down with a string until they are horizontal, this has to be done a little at a time so the stem dosn't snap.

Fuck I Missed. Fimming is cutting the 2 tiny leaves to cause 4. Youre talking LST
