Fertilizer ❓

Ok thanks this helps alot I'm not using near as much as you. But people said I was over feeding ❓
The whole thing about it is application rates, teas will correct deficiency quicker than a topdress as a topdress is supposed to feed for a long period (3-4wks) and nutes enter the soil thru watering. That's the reason for amounts. Past the initial pre-amendment, I half my volume per gal of grow media. So containers are 4 gal, initial pre- amendment would be 4 cups 4-4-4 for 4 gal media. Then at 4th or 5th week of veg I do 2 cups total... 1 1/2 cups 4-4-4 and 1/2 cup 3-9-4. 3-4 weeks later I switch to 12/12 and 1 cup of each. Then last amendment should be 1/2 cup 4-4-4 and 1 1/2 cup 3-9-4. I will add that this is my first time employing this technique and the girls have loved it. Eventually I would like to swap to bigger containers (4 to 7 gal) to get larger plants.

What size and are you growing photos? I use 3 and 5 gal pots...and I'm growing 3 gg#4, 3 orange sherbet,2 amnesia autos....all autos..

These are photoperiod plants. I do grow autos but haven't done enough research to apply the technique to them. I use Megacrop V2 one part for the autos in 3 gal cloth, or 5 gal SIP buckets. My environment in the basement this winter was all over the place and the autos suffered. Mostly small plants with little yield. Now that spring is showing my humidity and temp can be controlled more easily and shouldn't have a problem keeping it within perimeters. Hoping to be able to move from the basement in the future to an enclosed room (lung) and will control the lung room environment instead of individual tents.

What is your setup do you have ventilation, humidifier, ect...

Usually I have 8-9 autos in my auto tent. I have huge plans for this grow season. I’ll be growing some reg autos in the photo tent. Doing GLB amendments test. Starting photo fems for outdoors, starting autos for outdoors and hopefully by fall I can do a reg photo run for reversal for fem seeds. I’ll be trying DWC for the first time as well and if it works for me I might switch to that… although would love to go the exact opposite direction and go no till living soil!

Dr earth...
