Favorite weed related Youtuber

Sorry, I disagree. I dont know everything far from it lol, but that is a bad practice to give poor advice. When you have a platform like YouTube you must make sure you have your shit straight. At this point you are just not paying attention if you think you cant do HST with autos. Not saying you have to, but to say that you cant is just wrong info going out to people that are trying to learn. I also wonder if he has that wrong what else is he telling people that's incorrect? I'm not saying he should stop growing but be mindful of what you tell people when they're trying to learn. It is better to leave info out than pass incorrect info. He would learn a few things if he were a member here. I have learned far more here than on YouTube. I dont have anything against him just that's a big one to get wrong.

In that sense many YouTubers give bad advice and infinitely more could be learned from plant science, biology, and horticulture books. We're all learning about this plant together, no need to defecate on others freely given information when we are all fallible and prime to giving/taking bad advice. Besides people on this forum still suggest defoliation, flushing, and other harmful and or ineffective methods despite all the science.

This forum like YouTube is a resource and resources aren't always perfect but they are freely available.

Sorry, free or not wrong info is wrong info. I never defecated on anyone, all I said was not a fan. I dont care where it comes from wrong is wrong. I use defoliation a ton and it works great. I know this because I do it, if i listen to people say its bad so dont do it I'd never know. I prefer to listen to people that say let's put it to the test. That's science! Flushing has its useful parts, I dont flush at harvest but if I have an issue with my soil flushing can help big time. I use to flush at harvest because I heard people say you need to flush to get cleaner better bud. Then I heard people saying its BS, so I did both and found no difference. I'm not talking about his style just the misinformation that he has spread. I bought a flushing agent my 1st grow because I heard you need to flush, now it sits on the shelf as a reminder.

I believe DGC is a solid group of people on YouTube giving the best information they can after several decades of prohibition.

I'll throw in Shango Los as well. His interviews highlight various areas of cannabis and he shares great information.

Not sure who DGC is and Shango Los sound familiar. I want to go back and credit Mr. Canucks, he must have found out he was wrong and must have removed that video. He does now have a video with topping an auto. He has got little credibility with me with that. I just dont want people to think in a can't frame of mind, because as soon as you say you cant someone will lol. I may watch some of his stuff tonight, its gonna be a new year... Stay lifted!

What i learned so far since 5 months or reading and searching the net about growing: ''There's more then one way to skin a cat...''
So i take everything with a grain of salt...For me defoliation worked great and i know Damien is really against it.So...

What i like a lot about Mr Canucks is the quality of video editing and music.

Most people don't do actual side-by-side pruning experiments.
This guy did.
Without direct comparison, it's almost impossible to know the value of pruning.
I suspect that people don't prune, then learn more from experience, then do prune.
When their results are better, they attribute it to pruning instead of to greater experience.

From

"And the winner is.... Control group! (no defoliation)

Control group:
Plant 1: 142.5g
Plant 2: 148.0g
Plant 3: 133.0g
Total: 423.5g

Defoliation group:
Plant A: 137.5g
Plant B: 116.5g
Plant C: 130.0g
Total: 384.5g

Total yield 808 grams, 1.56g/w (average power draw during flowering)"

I've seen several other results like this.
I've seen no results that pruning increases yield.
Only testimonials that it does.

I'm a Big fan of Lex Blazer...and his Lex's World video series as well as Harley Smith who looks like some soft-spoken , super Happy dude who fell off The Grateful Dead tour bus...both very educational!

Got to shout out Shane at Migro, Mr.CanuksGrow, Cali-green, GreenGenesGarden,... guaranteed clicks from me and there's a ton more but those and anyone organic gets my views. Overall though it was Mr Canuk's Grow that inspired me to grow organic and keep it simple. Small closet and tent grows is where I'm at, I tend to get turned off by industrial size growers and found Canuk's vids are well made with a decent sound track so watching them over and over while I was figuring it out was helpful. Migro is a light company that's displaying a lot of integrity. As a light company they have set the bar for transparency and is even winning over other lighting companies to do fair analysis and share it on youtube. A lot of science geared toward growers. Cali-green - again a simple approach to growing organically in a small set up with quality videos and livestream ama. I'd say style, personality and results makes it work although he's not much into autos. Gene from GreenGenesGarden has a clear understanding of everything he does and if I was to grow in his style I'd just do as he does. SomeHiGuy as well and he does grow auto flowers . Small legal grow scale and getting better results with every harvest. Just wanted to share my appreciation, they helped me get it done. Peace :weed:
