Thanks to all who replied, much appreciated. The 3+2 offer at Seedsman would be a decent deal but with my single-plant grow style, I would never be able to work through that quantity of seeds. That's where the 1X2 offer at their website was so attractive for me. I want to rotate variety to my patients so they don't develop tolerances, while still being able to come back to the best winners every 6 months or so. Maybe one of these days I'll find another medical grower to help with the overhead, or Fast Buds will maybe change their U.S. rules. We'll see.
In the meantime if anyone finds more info, I'll be keeping up with this thread for a bit longer. Thanks again.

I’ve gotten my Fastbuds seeds from Seedsman and Herbies before. I’ve run quite a few of their strains and been generally happy with all of them and particularly liked GG#4. One of my favorite breeders. I've run their Gorilla Glue, Blackberry, Girl Scout Cookies, LSD-25 and Pineapple Express.

Hgm, riiiiight, FastBuds calls it Gorilla Glue Auto, but if you look at the lineage Gorilla Glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] is listed as one of the parentals, crossed to an unknown ruderalis to bring their auto version to market. I'm guessing so many people have gotten used to seeing GG#4 as the most current strain, and it's easy to fall into the trap of saying what you remember.

One of my favorite pastimes is researching strain lineages back to the original landrace strains that I grew up smoking.

And this one has some absolute royalty lineages - Skunk, Hawaiian, Afghani, Mexican, Colombian... but we could probably say that of practically any strain in existence today.
So what I find more "royalty" than the landrace strains in Gorilla Glue is the more current late 20th / early 21st century strains - ChemDawg, Sour Diesel (itself from Chemdawg parentals), SuperSkunk, Northern Lights, Hawaiian, BubbleGum, etc.​

The GG#4 Vs original GG story is an interesting one - "Gorilla Glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] was accidently created by Joesy Whales when some Chem Sis plants he was growing hermied and pollinated his Sour Dubb.
"Joesy Whales: i have been getting alot of questions about the gg4 so im going to tell everyone how it went down, a few years ago i was growing sour dubb and chem sister and some others, the chem sis threw a couple nanners and hit the sour dubb, i held those seeds for a year or so and finally popped 5 of them, they were ok, really had one nice pheno but i lost it in a security scare, the other 4 pheno's all hermed on me and tottaly seeded my whole stadium run, i was pissed, i got rid of all of it to a friend, marrdog. he kept alot of the seeds and about a year later we had a joint grow going and he popped i belive it was 6 of those seeds, i was really concerned that they would herm and dident have much hope for them, they were all female, we ended up with pheno's 1 2 4 and one we called the runt, all were outstanding, the clear winner though was the gg 4. so thanks to marrdog and lady luck"

So the Sour Dubb / ChemSister strain he was growing, crossed with Chocolate Diesel in separate grows at a different time, generated the original Gorilla Glue.
The same Sour Dubb / Chem sister parentals, accidentally back crossed among themselves by hermie luck, generated seeds that produced four pheno's of which [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] was the winner. So GG#4 was born.

When I was still growing photoperiods, I had the good luck to obtain a Humboldt Seeds Original ChemDawg. I only got two seeds, and one did not germinate. And the one that did was a unique pheno in that it had almost no smell when in bloom. Smelled great after a good cure and when smoking, but the grow stage was one of the easiest I ever encountered for ease of controlling odor. I ran this for several years until sadly, I had to pitch the mother due to a security scare of my own. To this day I wish I'd gotten off my lazy ass and self'ed some seeds for backup. But I didn't and she's gone, just not forgotten.

So the morale of that off topic story? Anything with ChemDawg heritage has a place in my garden & I'm really looking forward to Gorilla Glue!!!

Ya gg4 is clone only. I got 3 GB fast buds right now at day 50. They are flowering but not really a smell yet. Its dank. Just not that STANKKKK yet. Well see how they turn out check out my grow low dood

mrb, almost missed your post, it had been awhile & had forgotten about this thread, but Mizzo81 tagged a "Like" to this and when I looked I found your reply.
Since I posted originally a friend helped me out with some Gorilla Glue, Rhino Ryder & StawDawg beans, that will keep me going for awhile. But every time I look at their strain list I get the itch to order more seeds than I know I could ever grow... what's wrong with me???????

As I peruse the grow threads on AFN, I see FastBuds American Autoflower strains are gaining a stellar reputation. Everyone loves Gorilla Glue, Green Crack seems to be a motivating daytime favorite, and LSD-25 has everyone falling in love with sativa style highs all over again. As I poke around their website and start reviewing strains, my mouth starts to water. Blackberry, Girl Scout Cookies, G-14 (almost G-13), Pineapple Express, (white) Rhino, Tangie… DAMNNNNN, my shopping list just keeps getting longer. I've grown most of these strains in my photoperiod days & I want to grow them again as autos.
Now comes my problem. As I cruise their site, I see a most attractive offer for 2X1 or buy one / get one free. That's perfect for my grow style - if I love it I have a spare for round 2; or if for whatever reason a seed fails to germinate I have a backup. Their 3+2 is probably an even better deal, but realistically, with my shopping list, it would take me anywhere from two to four years to grow those out. And that's without considering any of my past favorites, like Blimburn Seeds Mamba Negra Auto or World of Seeds Kalashnikova, or on and on and on.
Now comes my problem. Their website (2fast4buds) does not ship to the U.S. of A.
So I check their authorized distributors... three of them are no longer listing FastBuds, only one sells singles, and NONE of them carry the 2X1 or 3X2 offers.
Not Herbies.
Not Attitude.
I even went to my favorite Cannabis strain database & checked some of their "Where can you get it" vendors. None offer the special deals.

So here's the question - does anyone know a seed bank who carries FastBuds strains, ships to the U.S. and provides the breeder's special offers? I hate to lose out on a special deal, and at the same time I hate to have seeds sit in the refrigerator for years before I get around to growing them.

Thanks my Friend, and sorry for the delayed acknowledgment, been away from the Forum dealing with other fun stuff.
I was really interested in FastBud's 2X1 deal, but no one seems to honor that outside their own direct breeder orders, which they don't ship to the U.S. Both these sources have the full product selection, but in 5-pack only. I do medical single-plant grows only, and the 5-packs would totally go to waste before I made it through a rather long wish list of their strains. Rhino Ryder's in the tent & Gorilla Glue's getting popped next week.

I talked to another grower to share an order with, but I'll definitely save this for future reference. Much appreciated.

You should definitely check out Seedsman.com. they have fastbuds on there and are currently on a promo for 420. They have a huge selection of breeders and seeds. I personally bought through them 3 times now. Waiting on order 3 but have not had one single problem with them whatsoever. I would recommend them 10 out of 10.
