What up AFN ? It's been a long time !

I didn't really post anything recently on this board, because i tried a Regular Grow Serie (Some Barneys Farm Cookie Kush x Liberty Haze). I totally screwed up this one by the way... My plants did not handle the switch from HPS to LED at flowering stage. I made few other mistakes, not to mention. I felt like a blue.
:redcard:

I know now what i did wrong, and what i did right. So i decided to make things a lot more easier for me: grow plants i already know. Bought some Pineapple Express (One of the best weed i've tasted, and my favorite plant so far) and some Blackberry (Never tried it, but looked deliciouuuus) from @FastBuds, .

And here we are, for a brand new grow serieeeee ! :bighug:

I didn't really felt the need of having a journal, but when i started, i mainly learned from those logs. It felt obvious to share this trip with all of you, and why not share some tricks together.

ASSETS:

- 1x 90x60x180cm Mylar Super-Box
- 1x Roleadro (Galaxy Hydro) 600W LED
- 3x Pineapple Express
- 3x Blackberry
- 6x 50cl cups
- 6x 11L pots
- Master Grower Nutrient Pack (Roots, Veg, Flower, Bloom)

GERMINATION:
- Hydration 1: Soak in water for a 24h
- Hydration 2: Soak in wet towel for 48h

SEEDLING:
- Planted the seeds in the 6 50CL cups (holes at the bottom for water)
- Popped out of soil 24h after being planted
- Counting DAY 1 from opened shell.
- Fed the girls with few drops of Master Grower Xtra Root at 6.5ph.

Why 6.5, because 6.8 might be a little to hight.
Only fed the girls twice, the first was really gentle, no nutes involved. The second had the drops and was a little more efficient.

SUNDAY - 14MAY (DAY 8)
So today is their 8th birthday, the soil was a little dry so i decided to give them another round of water. This time i used 4 drops of veg nute into my solution. Nothing too hard for them. I'm just trying to give them all they need to go through the 2 first weeks.

MUST READ:
If you are, like me, using LED to light your plants and don't wanna screw up your grow. Please, be aware that the feeding schedule is not the same as you would with an HPS. The main reason, is the environment itself. With HPS lights, you are generating a LOT of heat, drying out the air in your room, and the soil in your pot. So your plant is basically using more water to stay hydrated, and healthy. But LED lights are changing all of that. These lights are not generating a lot of heat, but they are hot enough too raise humidity in your room slowing down the soil from drying out. Which basically mean that your feeding schedules, depending on your environment, might be slower, adding 1-to-3 days between 2 feeds (3-5days). Please do not mess with it.

Great intro :toke: Your going to love the Blackberry Kush! Mine blew me away in both smell and buzz. It's now my favorite strain, but I hear lots off good things about Pineapple Express too. My next seed purchase will include PE and West Coat OG! Anyways, hope you don't mind if I tag along! :pop:

Nice, @Zeytan! Happy growing with those gals! A tasty tent is coming! Enjoy! :D

@Need4Weed Thanks man ! I was looking for something like blueberry, something with red fruits, full of sugar, kinda like PE but less powerful. You'll fall in love with PE, and WCOG is a devil for sure.

ran them both. The blackberry was ok.My wife liked it but mostly the look and taste but potency was just never there.I ran dutch passions blackbery and fast buds.fast buds was better.
@The Plant Whisperer That is exactly what i'm afraid of !! But i must try and see by myself.

nice set up,you off and running now.
good luck.

@HaggisHaze Thanks mate ! You should create a log and let the best win ahah ! no seriously, PE are such great plants. They support a high PH and are growing really nicely. Never had a problem with it. Kinda curious about the Blue Cheese by the way !!:pass:

------------
Soooooooo, now that the seedling stage is over, time to show you a little more about the girls.

DAY 10 (VEG WEEK 1)
They are growing nicely. Leaves are pointing up. Color is great. I had to fix a main stem which was bending a lot. I have a fan directly pointing at them to solidify their main stem, before doing any LST. Yes in couple of days, I'll start training them a bit. I'm not gonna do anything special, I'm just gonna make sure that they're strong enough to produce more.

Soil is still wet, I'm gonna leave them for 2 more days.
Humidity is at a correct range ±37% with a temperature around 28°C

Exactly !! We pretty much have the same set up so it's gonna be pretty amazing to watch :pass:

DAY 12
I have a pretty bad news guys... I vacuumed one of my PE last night, FOR REAL !!!
I was adding a little more soil to the cups, and some fell down to the floor, so i decided to give a little clean. The fan and the extractor were both running, and when i opened the box, the plant was directly caught into the vacuum.
:redcard::rip:

I felt sooooo stupid. Like how could I be dumb enough to do this shit, seriously... Well let's move on. Happily, i had an other seed waiting to sprout somewhere. A Six Shooter from @FastBuds !

Now let's be more specific !!! I've noticed that all of my plants first range of leaves were not that big. while the others are good. My light is way to up (1m50!!) which is great at beginning but I could have run into some problems.

I'm now done with the cups, time to fil the 11L pots ! Transplanting was ok, great white roots, did a little damage to the weakest BB, but nothing to worry about. Fed them with some Xtra Roots and Veg nutes, at a really low range, PHed at 6.5.

Next time, only water, no nutes.
