I made a search effort to read about how other growers are dealing with extreme and hight heat issues but nothing came up. So, I'd like to start this for people to ring in with their solutions on dealing with extreme temperatures in their growing areas barring moving to a better climate, of course. (which tempts me from time to time)

My outback growing shed hit 92' yesterday and I felt helpless looking in on all my ladies sweating it out in there. I have an old window ac unit but how about that sticking out of the window of a shed? Raise some eyebrows you think?

Only way I can think of to deal with that, Seabow, is to install an extractor fan, and if you''ve already got one, get a bigger one. Or an aircon unit. :peace:

Portabel ac. I just installed mine! My temps are perfect! Its also makes my house cold and nice! I cant belevie I didnt buy myself an AC unit before now! If you dont have one, buy one!:bong:

Just make a box around the back out of foam cut a circle hole run some duct into a hole in the wall . You can use foam board that has a silver layer over it you can get it at home depot hope it helps

Is your shed ventilated? I see you're from S florida, how would an ac sticking out of a shack be out of place down there? Last i checked that was standard?

Yeah should be pretty standard down there no worries I'd put money on it :2cents: ;)
