Cat update..Looking a little healthier. I also got 50 more seeds to try more. I soaked in peroxide/water mix then cracked some shells with my teeth (25% of the seeds) then put in a moist paper towel with superthrive mixed water. hopefully I get more to crack.

I'm almost positive I germed it on 4/20 so 21 days from seed. Although I may have started a few days before or after that but 99.9% sure it was 4/20. It took about 3 days to pop above ground from what I remember. I was really high that entire week. Lol
I need to start keeping better track of my personal closet but its hard cause I got so much else going on.

It is a pretty little girl and I have high hopes for it but the mystery bagseed is really intriguing me. It was started the same day as the BR and is smaller but showing preflowers. It was really good almost sour d tasting smoke. I just hope it don't herm..

What's the difference between Afghan Kush Special and Afghan Kush?

AKS is from WoS. It basicly is just an afghan Kush that was selected from a large # of them then I'm pretty sure they just selfed it. I have emailed them to ask questions about the genetics as I always do and the only kind of straight answer I could get is that they "could be considered S1 seeds."
I see no difference in this plant compared to other regular AK.
It's supposed to be the best of the best in female form. But from what I can tell the only thing special about this AK is the fact that its feminized.

Nice ..i would try a bag seed grow but all mine would be from mexico...thats where 90% of stuff with seeds comes from and almost sure it will hermi on me

I have grown Mexican bagseed before and it does have a tendency to herm but if you dont stress them at all sometimes you can get a really great female. I wouldn't breed with it but it can be some bomb ass smoke. I know the bagseed I'm growing is from the US and it could herm but the pollen might have been a contamination from a male of the same type or another strain. If the plant doesn't herm I will stress test clones (if its not an auto) and make some fem S1 seeds to grow out a large # of them and use for breeding.

2 cats! That's right I germed 20 more vintage seeds and got 1 to sprout a tail. It was one I had cracked open with my teeth. I put it in seed mix and am waiting for it to pop. Hopefully now that I have 2 at least 1 of them will be female.

If I get a male and female should I make reg seeds or all fem as usual? Being an outdoor strain I would say fem is best but that just my opinion..what's yours?
