The EcoGreen CO2 Producer naturally boots carbon dioxide levels in any indoor gardening space. Our strain of Super EcoGreen CO2 producing mycelium (fungi) was specifically designed to generate the highest possible levels of CO2. Each bag is made with a special organic blend of sawdust, wood chips and supplements, which the mycelium mass uses As a food source. As the mycelium decomposes the material, CO2 is released through the one way 3T filter patch at the top of the bag. The Super EcoGreen CO2 Producer is activated the day it is made (which is made on the day of your order) and produces CO2 continuously for 6+ months (60-80 days of optimal CO2 production while continuing to generate at sufficient levels for 6+ months). Our research demonstrates that this producer generates maximum levels of CO2 in medium to large (approximately 4'x4') grow environments ( generating enough to have an effect on 6-8 large plants, 12-14 medium plants, or 20+ small plants). The most CO2 is produced within the first three months, then the output decreases slowly as the mycelium matures and consumes all the materials in the bag. To maximize the effectiveness of this kit, place the producer behind a fan in your grow room or above the cropping surface so the heavier CO2 gas will stream down onto your plants, providing them the extra CO2 necessary to thrive. It is that easy! Simply place the Super EcoGreen CO2 Producer in your grow environment and it will do the rest! As mycelium matures, the kit will produce CO2 in increasingly smaller amounts. To keep CO2 levels consistent it is necessary to know how old your producer is and to compost your producer when it is no longer effective. To maintain highest levels of CO2 we recommend adding new kits every 60 days. Each kit includes a "COMPOST BY" date on it, these producers are all natural and organic, you can compost them in your backyard!
