Sorry I missed your question till now. That is a tropical hibiscus called "Tampanella" I picked it up at a show a couple years ago and she is going crazy lately.

thats a cool flower. I need to look into it and maybe add that to my flower beds.thanks for the reply

you wont regret it. not a big gal, but the colas the fattest I've grown so far and her aroma is simply incredible and the coloring is just plain cool!

Keep in mind if your winter temps drop below freezing, even for just a couple days, they will die. I put mine in a shed each winter with cfl lighting to make it thru the winter.

almost 60 and showing her age.trics are starting to cloud some.fed her Tuesday 48oz of Dr.Earths Golden Bloom 1 1/2 tbls, 1 tbls Flower Girl bud booster with 1tbls cal/mag mixed into 1 gal and bubbled for 24 hours. a little foamy but its like it super charges it. dunno, maybe just me. shes a nice dark shade of purple, just this side of black.hers a few more pics
