Lol.yur over thinking it.you dont hav to convert for one...if you buy a quality tds meter it should switch between ec/ppm.im anal and in us so ppm is standard for me...ok say yur nutes say 1100ppm for veg..in my totes its 4gal each tote to fill..mix yur nutes as directed(for me thats each 4gal is mixed) and u will hit that number..when i top off cause reservoir is low yur ppms will drop by the number it is naturaly...so if i was at 1100,it gets low,i add a gal(my water is 225ppm)so ill b around 900ish...if i add 2 gal then ill b around 700ppm
When you start using lucas formula and stuff like that is when it matters..cause if you add back a gal of nuted water cause yur low,this is wen it spikes...nutrients is like the 5th most important thing when growing,lights,ventilation,air movement,medium,temps/humidity this is what to focus on.people who want full nutes constantly r ones chasing deficiencies...regardless of full nutes,3/4,or 1/2 nuted your plant is only gonna drink the nutrients it wants at the time it wants it...you r just making all the nutrients available it may want..
Once you get more n more experience you will find about 3/4 strength is the real number u want to b at..nutrient companies job is not to grow yur mj...its to sell nutes so there numbers r not always spot on..cause if u get a deficiency,gues what?they got another solution to sell u for that too...lmao.and when you get more experience you will c more growth by starving them a hair...if yur in dirt let them droop a hair b4 you water,then you will get explosive growth cause there starving..like giving an Ethiopian a steak dinner.lmao
