E Grower- My new problem after installing Mars led

General question...

Anyone ever change lights in the middle of a grow and have your new light burn the tops of your plants?

That might be what is going on with mine right now.

From what light to which light?

The old light was a Best 600 watt 240 true watts. A discontinued led that I purchased for a discount price.

New is Mars-Hydro Pro 2 Epistar 120.

I am seeing a few new trichromes on each bud after lowering my scrog, repositioning plants and raising light about 4".

defninitely light bleaching as mentioned, but the yellowing pattern on the very tops concerns me,... looks like Fe defc., a fairly common one; might be triggered by the stress from the light proximity.... likely from simple lack-of, or by coincidence the pH has gone too alkaline (near 7.0) which changes it's chemistry and locks it out from the plants taking it up,.... what's you water like for pH and TDS/EC? (hardness is what I'm looking for).... do you pH adjust your nutes before adding? Are you checking in-pot pH at all? You'll need a proper soil pH probe for that, like the Accurate 8 = :phsoil: <-- long probe here is the A8,... meters are for liquids only, and run-off is not a reliable measure of in-pot pH,....

Hey, Waira! Longtime no see.

Yes, I pH my water after adding notes. I do not check pot pH. I need to invest in a probe. Thanks!!

Could have been a pH problem. The day of last feeding my pH meter was telling me lies. Really didn't know till later when I cleaned everything.

Thanks, Brother!!! :pighug:

It looks as if they are recovering.

...:greenthumb: no further spreading? edges sure look worse, but sometimes the damage has a certain inertia to it before it halts,....

@Waira

No. No spreading. I think she was close to ending her spread. Yes, I agree with the damage...It has a life. The buds are getting a little longer and the trichs have reappeared on top. Hope she's not damaged to bad.
