Grow Mediums Dwiz's Dwc (first grow)

I would pull those damaged lower leaves. Now, what is the total ppm? I usually stay around 450 for veg and 850 to 900 in bloom.

I add about 2 to 3 ml of calmag per gallon of water.

Calmag deficiency on that last pic...also, why not 20/4?

A few leaves looks like that =(
I'll add some more calmag to my res.
I was thinking about switching to 20/4. I was just running 24 bc I hadn't got a timer yet. I'll actually order one tonight. Is there one you recommend?

ppm is currently at 170. I hadn't added the extra calmag yet.

My last res change was Friday. I set her at 215 ppm.

I start with 5 ppm ro water

I use these, but can't program them, they've been programmed for me and one stopped working. I just can't figure them out...

Ok, why are you keeping the ppm so low? @Itisi what do you use for veg? I stay around 450ppm...

I have a metric conductivity meter, so it reads in micro sieman. To be honest I rarely use it. I have my feeding schedule I stick loosely to and I do regular(ish) reservoir changes.

Yer, I'm pretty lax.

If you are using plug in timers like these, check how much they can switch. They are rated in amps. Total up the amount of amps you are switching (fans+light+pumps etc) and make sure the timer is rated higher than this. If you are switching a lot (hid lights) you should use the timer to control a contactor or relay and have that do the switching.

Whenever you operate a switch, the electricity will jump the gap between the switch as you operate it,the more power you are switching, the bigger the spark when it jumps the contacts. This burns them and eventually it gets so bad it can no longer make proper contact and is burnt out.

I use plug in timers, but they only switch one thing each, one for lights, one for pump etc.

Someone had mentioned i should start at a low ppm. But I'll take your advice and bump her up a bit! The feeding schedule I have has the ppm in your range.
I think it was a bit too low, you should see improvement now that you increased it.
