Playing devil's advocate. If the DWC is being fed daily and the coco is being fed sporadically, is it a good comparison?

As good as is possible to get. Different systems require different feeding regimens, that's all part of it

I’m not saying it’s an exact feeding regime, cos dwc will always win when comes to who has more food! I’m jus doing a grow off between the two To the best of my knowledge in growing bud

The DWC is starting to stretch a little but not much it’s more bushy than anything! It has lots of tops and all equal in height. The coco is a big girl she has stretched out a lot. An she has a good few tops aswell . I thought the dwc would’ve been furth

Has anyone else got any problems with what and how I’ve got this wee grow off going? Or have any ideas of how I can make it as equal as possible. I’d take your ideas and see if It could improve that I can keep the grow as equally possible!! I’m no professional! I thought I’d try a grow off for my own Fun and comparison. My pall said to put it up for all to see. All ideas welcome,if u don’t like don’t watch happy growing afn fam xxx

Hey Man, I don't have any issues and think it's pretty cool to do a comparison grow. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was taking a shot or criticizing what you are doing. I was just stating my opinion that the COCO is a disadvantage to DWC.
You could try watering the coco daily since it can be treated like hydro. I grow in coco also but I prefer to water every other day in Hempy buckets, Someday I will try DWC but I am scared.

Only thing I can think of to make the comparison more equal would be to do a it in an AutoPot with coco. As the DWC takes what it wants, when it wants, rather than top feeding when possible, the AutoPot would also allow on-the-tap feeding. They'd both use the same nutes so all would be fair.

Either way you're doing a fantastic job and I still can't believe how much the coco exploded. It just took off.

I am thinking of switching from Hempys to AutoPots in the very near future but I love coco.
